They have the worst WiFi signal and speed that I've ever encountered and with this Arris SURFboard Max AX7800 Plus Mesh WiFI 6 System there was no more complaining. It was easy and simple to set up, just download the app and it walks through set up step by step. PROS: Easy, simple set up with app Step by step directions with app Amazing speed and signal Excellent coverage, no intermittent connections or blank spots Parental controls can be set up to limit screen time Works with Alexa Manage and check speed from app CONS: Blue lightning always illuminated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came in exquisite boxing. Once I opened the box i saw that the instructions to set the system up were on the top of the box. An IOS or Android app once downloaded was easy and a breath of fresh air to follow along the setup process (unlike the usual written instructions). I did contact customer service to help on the process due to not knowing what type of internet set up i currently had, so installation could be done properly. Customer service could not have been better. They stayed on the phone with me until the final step of the setup was completed . Once everything was set up, the wifi in the entire house, including basement, went from below average to outstanding. Where have you been my whole life SURFboard mAX!!!! I highly recommend this amazing product it is a game-changer.
Easy setup... Yea I know.. U can't get into the tweaking of the system... Ok by me!!... Fast as all heck.. And none of my netgear would reach outside being heavy aluminum sided house... This thing connects to phone in car coming up road to house!! The whole block is covered here lol!!

It is strong and super fast. We are a family of five and we are constantly streaming tv shows and/or gaming at the same time. This keeps it going for us! It was really easy to hook up and isn't bulky like our last router. Beyond worth it!

My current router is a TP-Link Archer C4000 Wireless AC4000 MU-MIMO Tri-Band Router. I now have a strong and consistent signal and my speed has even improved. I have a smaller home than what the size of this was designed for but we have 4 people in the home that are constantly using wifi sometimes on multiple devices at once. It was really easy to use and set up and has exceeded all my expectations. My home has never been so fast and this has made my life so much easier! I am beyond thrilled that I finally have reliable and consistent wifi in my home again, and I know that this system is worth every cent!

I am pretty tech savvy, so I didn't have any problems hooking it up, but even less tech savvy people should not have a hard time either. There was only a couple of issues I ran into. The first was I trying to scan the barcode inside the box and it took me to the Arris website, but I couldn't find the app there, so I just went into the app store and downloaded it there. The second problem that I ran into was I work from home, so my computer and phone must be hooked directly up to the modem or router. The total phone Jacks I need it four, so I was not able to use this wifi with my work computer. I have to unplug my previous one each day after work and plug this one in, to use the new wifi for my mobile devices, to get the best signal throughout the house. I have to say I do get full signal throughout my house with this new wifi over my last one, that I only get two bars in my back room. Q
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Arris Surfboard Max Plus I opened the nicely packaged product. I feel sometimes that the way a product is packaged says a lot about the quality and I could tell I was getting something amazing. I was able to set this Router up within 15 minutes and I was off to the races. It was a simple process as I had to download their app to my phone and it then guided me through the process step by step. It allowed me to choose location of where the router was located as well as a network name. It also updated and registered the router automatically. I then began connecting my devices(wirelessly and wired) to it and noticed when I did a speed test that it actually is pulling more internet from my service provider than what I pay for which is a definite bonus. I will be recommending this item to all of my family and friends!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose this product because of my internet wi-fi is weak and intermittent at times. Everyone in my household has complained of the wi-fi speed. I opened the well packaged router and installed the app on my phone. I then followed the directions from my phone. It took all but fifteen minutes to install and it was up and running. My husband is a gamer and noticed that his ping wasn't spiking at all anymore. Because of the size of our house, I placed the other router upstairs to get a better signal. All in all, this product is a must if there are multiple wi-fi users in your house. Having good internet sevice and a good wi-fi signal is what everyone wants. Both will make everyone in your house happy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I hooked this up the setup was a little more difficult than it should of been. It also required a Smart Phone App to get it set up. While most people have these, some people may not. Once it was up and running it did work very well and was fast!
I love the product, I completely dislike the delivery. The delivery did not delivered on the day scheduled and FedEx Walmarts or the vendors choice for shipping could not be contacted. Conveniently they are silent when they knew they screwed up. I got it the next day. I won't order again through a Walmart partner, this was an over 500$ purchase and I think all concerned in the sale should be able to be contacted. FedEx failed and Walmart failed, to the original vendor in Florida I think you need to make it clear to YOUR customer ME what the FedEx tracking number is. I have it now, it works great but the shipping battle and dropping the ball was not appreciated.
