I needed to watch my mother and this product worked great. The quality of the pictures are great. It can be used in any situation.
I purchased this to keep an eye on the health care workers that care for my eldery parent. It is a good value and works well. Just pop out the memory card and put it in your laptop or computer and it plays instantly on windows media player. Visual only and can be placed on motion or schedule or both. worth every penny!
Product works as advertised. I am impressed with the resulting video quality considering the item's cost. Low light level performance is acceptable, again considering the cost.
If you are looking for something to record a specific area from inside your house, mount it in a window inside of your house and it does the job. It has to be put out of the weather. I use it to record my driveway during the day, while I'm away as there are people stealing things when people leave their houses in my neighborhood. It must be used in a lighted area after dark for you to see what it recorded. For the applications described above, its works perfect.
I have used this product. The size is a quite a bit larger than regular motion sensor. Quality of the picture is OK in regular daylight but is very bad when used in low light. Price is also a bit high for quality. I will recommend it as it does the job.
sometimes, big things DO NOT come in small packages. although this product will work, it's not at all what I thought it would be. If anyone who knows this product was looking to vandalize my porch (which is why I got it) they would know to just pull out the sd card from the top...it's that easy. If I could have this inside a window, it would be much better for this situation but unfortunately, I cannot. I would not recommend this product for the price. For double what I spent on this, I could have gotten a base recorder with 4 cameras. So, there ya go!
