[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's one of the best Security cameras I ever tried. It has great features. I always owned security cameras which only showed black and night videos at night but this has Night2Day color vision. The clarity of the video is just perfect. Full HD 1080P videos. Has 2 cameras which work on wifi. Wide angle 90deg view feature is very impressive. This is great for tracking unwanted activity in the driveway. The spotlights are bright and controllable and the sirens are great for deterring anyone who is trying to get to our cars. Lately we have a lot of complaints in our neighborhood about car thefts and this security system monitors very well. And the 1 TB hard drive and cloud back up helps me to track down the videos. I am very happy about the True Detect heat and motion sensing feature. That's really unique and differentiates this from my old security system. It works with Google and Alexa and the app is very easy to use. The security systems comes with everything needed for installation and NVR can be connected through Wifi or Ethernet cable. It also connects with SwannNet. I love this feature since it allows the flexibility of connecting my camera either to NVR or the WiFi whichever has the strongest signal!! The security system has a bonus mouse! The power cables are long and about 40ft. It's weatherproof and we have a lot of snow where I live so this feature is a must. This system can have 2 more extra cameras if we wish to extend. I am very pleased and happy with all the great features and I am so glad that it works like a pro. Truly effective and efficient in monitoring my home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SWANN Wi-Fi Security System package includes two bullet-style 1080p HD wide angle cameras and a four-channel network video recorder (NVR) with 1TB hard drive storage & two extra channels allowing additional camera expandability, as well as every cable and color-coded quick start guide to install, setup and use the monitoring system starting from day one. In my experience, the audio range around 15 ft was clear, and the visual distance was stable & flawless around 30 ft (in color) with WiFi connection both during day/night and rain/snow. In short, with an easy straight forward installation, a powerful True Detect heat and motion sensing, an effective smartphone (tested iOS) and smart home (utilized Google Assistant) integration not susceptible to interference, the SWANN security system seems to be a SOLID and RELIABLE option.
Good clear camera. Set up easily. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my other brand system with this Swann and I am so pleased that I did. The options are much superior not to mention the vidio quality, I suggest before installing it is to go to the Swann website support and search for the item description and down the manuals, this camera offers so much to get the full benefits I found this helpful. Customer 24/7 support I found very helpful also. I highly recommend this system.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swann 2 Camera 4 Channel 1080P HD Wi-Fi NVR Security System is truly one of a kind and I am so impressed. This security system was very easy to install and provides peace of mine to my family. There are so many great features that makes my family and feel safe and secure. My favorite feature is the Night2Day feature so you can see color videos at nighttime. I truly love Swann's security system and highly recommend it to everyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this security system and I can't wait to put it up when summer comes. Unfortunately it's winter in Minnesota! By the looks of it, it will be the right system we need we need to keep kids from messing with our vehicles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this two camera security system. The system is very easy to set up to my television, and I love that I can clearly now see my front yard and backyard. I also enjoy that the picture quality is very clear on the camera. I also enjoy the night vision and the flood lights work very well, and really light up my yard.
I got this system in hope that I could tie in my two existing Swann Cameras (SWIFI-PTCAM2 & SWIFI-SPOTCAM), figuring that this NVR and cameras are wifi based, and my existing ones are wifi as well. The two in the kit came up instantly, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to add my other ones to it… I would LOVE to be able to see my other cameras on a TV, vs on my phone (where all 4 feeds do show up) (in photo, “Carport is the Spotcam,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved into a new house and wanted an extra layer of protection for our family. While this Swann system does have some very nice security features, there were some big headaches and frustrations getting to that point. Upon receiving the system, it came very neatly boxed. You are given everything you need to install it, configure it, and work the system. You are also given several pamphlets with directions, and this is where the issues began for me. I'm fairly tech savvy and followed the direction step by step. I was baffled that it came with mouse, which you need to configure your system through a tv. Yes, a mouse and a tv, all hooked up to the security system in order to configure it to work wirelessly. I was shocked at how an advanced security system like this used archaic technology just to set it up. Why can't this be done with a phone or wirelessly? Why all these cables just to set up a password and preferences? I was completely caught off guard by this setup process. The headaches didn't stop there. The last step is to sync up the cameras to your phone. I downloaded the app as directed and again, followed the directions. They were very unclear, especially at the end. I couldn't get the cameras to show up in the app on my phone and I gave up after several hours. I thought it could be user error, so I asked my wife to start the set up process from scratch to see if she could figure it out. She ran into the exact same issues in the exact same places. After trouble shooting and countless web searches, we somehow got lucky and got it to work. The directions were horrible, unclear and vague to the point where we almost gave up altogether. After that adventure, we installed the two cameras on our house. That process was very straightforward if you're good with tools (which aren't included). We figured out how to use the app, which you can customize to your liking. There is a ton of local storage on the unit and that was more than enough for us to save video clips. If you want more storage, you can also add a USB or even pay for a plan to store on the cloud. The controllable spotlight, although not terribly bright, is a nice feature, especially at night. The two way audio is very clear and easy to use. One of the best features in my opinion is how the cameras use night vision. You can see colors at night which brings added security and peace of mind, especially if there isn't a lot of light around your house. I wish, however, the cameras moved. You're unable to pan or tilt the cameras, so they are always pointed in the exact same direction. You are able to see about 90 degrees, but depending on where you install them, the cameras may not pick up everything. I also wish you had the option to use batteries for the cameras. You are given a very long extension cord in order to plug it in, but then you have to deal with wires everywhere. It also limits where you can install the cameras too. Having the option to not hardwire them would be very helpful. Overall, I think this is a good quality system. The video and audio is top notch, the app is reliable and easy to use, and there is a ton of free local storage. Be prepared, however, to run into some issues when setting it up as the directions are not very good. Also keep in mind that you cannot pan/tilt the cameras and they also have to be hardwired. I feel those are some big deal breakers for people as they decide on which security system is right for them.
