We had fire damage and it covered both stain and smoke smell. We had ceiling damage from a roof leak and it covered the stain and never bled back through we never fonished that project. I am sending a picture of it. We had a room painted pirple then covered the room with Kilz and another paint color and the purple still has not bled through

I purchased it in black, and I could have gotten away with a single coat, but I did two. It has a nice shine to it.

Our porch railings had not been painted in 8 Years....and after I pressure washed them in preparation I found I had peeled a lot of the old paint off and was looking at bare wood. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kilz paint & primer semi-gloss interior/exterior white paint is the best. Such a wholesome, crisp white. I decided to paint the kitchen walls, inside the dingy cabinets and ceiling and the kitchen looks and smells brand new. In the past I've used only the primer but this project I used paint+primer to see how it would turn out. I'm so happy! The kitchen hasn't been painted in about 40 years and Kilz is the only brand I felt confident using. I'm glad I did. 5 more rooms to go and outdoor trim!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a 94 pop up camper trailer, essentially a tent on wheels! I gutted the entire trailer and found that it's just unsealed plywood. First thing I did was paint the plywood bunk ends with interior killz on the inside and exterior killz on the underneath. I love how thick killz is, almost 30 year old osb plywood and it covered it perfectly! This layer also helped mask some of the “age” smell that had accumulated.
