This was the only dissapointing item. The packet of sweet carrots was not fresh at all. The carrots' skins looked very dry. I had to put them in a bowl of cold water and drained them before taking the picture. So dissapointing indeed. When I shop and pull them from the shelf at the Palmetto, Fl Walmart, (where I live) I get the fresher ones (usually very orange with no dry looking skin and packet contains a liquid which i believe keeps them pretty fresh), not like the pack I received today from the Homossasa Walmart. Just dissapointed-they still are sweet tasting.
I got the carrots in my pickup order on Aug. 12 and the best by date on the package is Aug. 11. Very unhappy because I needed them for my lunch and they hey do not taste good. This is obviously the employees fault for not checking and another's for them even being on the shelf to sell still.
Carrots delivered 2/26/24 with a best by date of 2/27/24. The leaky bag had funky smelling water in it Carrots are slimy. I could not eat a whole bag of good carrots in one day. Carrots cost $1.87. I know you can eat beyond best by dates. I would not take a chance eating these carrots.
This item is only a week old and I went to open it and the entire bag is rotten. I did not even open it and it one big mushed up bag. Returning.
Bought this today (12/4/21) for curbside pick up and it’s expiration is 11/20/21.
The use by date on the carrots was 02Jan. Some of the carrots were still OK but a majority of them were slimy.

Pick up orders are the best way to sell expired food
The carrots are all dried out.
The carrots expired today and were already white and dried up. I use pickup for safety, but now have to go in store tomorrow because your people don't answer the phones!
