When my son was a toddler he was absolutely obsessed with cleaning, specifically with our vacuum. Seemingly magical, its ability to suck up small objects, move back and forth, and make noise entranced him for periods so long I began to wonder if the vacuum itself didn't posses mystical abilities. Often supervising him for long periods of time, I grew weary of the constant requests to clean, if only there was a tool that would engage him without direct supervision -enter in the Swiffer Sweeper. Now, my son is no longer a toddler and another child has entered into the equation. Both inherited my love of organization, cleanliness, and order, and both enjoy using the Swiffer Sweeper as set up is so easy that even a child can do it, and I do mean a child (our children are 4 and 5). It’s rewarding to hear his little voice say, ‘time to wash the floors’ and help me by pulling out the mop, the wet pads, using his little finger to secure it into place, and take charge like the little man he is. What’s even better is that this isn’t just a toy in our house, it really does break down any surface level dirt on our hardwood and tile floors. Even when I think the floors are relatively clean I’m always surprised at home much additional dirt the Swiffer is able to find (as evidence by the the pad). Do yourself a favor and try having your children help you by using the Swiffer, not only will you be teaching them how to clean, but you’ll be amazed at their faces after a good scrubbing is over, and they’re rewarded with a grey tinged pad at the end. Lastly, I must say, I love the scent. It makes the entire home smell great. Personally, I think this product has come a long way from it's originally version as I don't recall the cleaning power, or scent, to be so powerful. Overall, I rated this 5/5 because I couldn't think of a single thing to make this product better. I did notice several gripes from other reviewers, to them I would say this isn't a product to replace a deep cleaning. For us, this is a touch-up product to be used in-between deep cleanings, often times postponing the need for such cleanings by weeks. Happy Swiffering everyone! So I tried the lavendar vanilla & comfort swiffer sweeper wet pads. I first used them in my bathrooms and found they worked well and I loved the scent. I do recommend using a dry pad first if you have excessive dust and hair on floor...otherwise the wet pad left a few little clumps of this debris on floor. Next I used the swiffer wet pads on the kitchen floor and found them to work well getting off surface dirt. I did find it a little difficult to get a few sticky dirt spots off only because I couldn't apply enough pressure with the mop handle. If I could suggest a change, it might be to make the handle a little more heavy duty. When in the kitchen I noticed some grease spots on the ceiling and thought what the heck, why not try it on the ceiling since my kitchen ceiling has no texturing on it. Well to my surprise, it worked fantastic! It took the grease spots off, and I easily cleaned the whole ceiling. I have had a swiffer sweeper in the past but hadn't used it in a long time. I found I didn't really like the wet pads in the past, mostly the smell of them. I thought most of the ones I tried were too much of a chemical smell. That was not the case with these. I am sensitive the smells and tend to like smells that aren't super strong and that don't stick around for a long time. I did not have a problem with the scent of these. These refills fit my regular size Swiffer Sweeper perfectly. I use the Swiffer Sweeper Wet Pads on a weekly basis on my kitchen tile floors and my bathroom laminate floors. With my dog's muddy paws and my toddler constantly spilling on our kitchen floor, I need a quick and easy way to get our floors clean and these work amazing. The Swiffer Sweeper can easily get under the appliances and in tight corners. I find that it picks up dirt faster and better than an old fashioned broom. The Lavender Vanilla scent is just an added pleasant surprise. The scent gives my kitchen/bathroom a nice fresh smell! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I think this product is good for the quick, everyday cleaning that you might want. I use these to clean up spills and I especially like the wet pads when I need to get something sticky off the floor. I frequently use the Swiffer WetJet for quick cleans, such as pet messes or food spills, and was excited to try a new Swiffer cleaner. One issue I had right at the start is that the Wet Pad Refill fluid spilled all over the floor when opening, so be careful when opening that you are not over a surface that you do not want to clean. The pads are easily installed by pressing the pad into four holes on the mop that hold the pad in place. I used the Wet Pad directly after using the Swiffer Sweeper Dry Pads to clear the area of dust and dirt. The Wed Pad provided a deeper clean and stronger clean smell, working better than a traditional mop to get rid of stains. The tip can be used to scrub, making it easier to get rid of tougher stains. As a combo, the Sweeper Dry Pad and Wet Pad combo created a deeper clean than the Swiffer WetJet alone. However, the fact that the pads need to be changed back and forth to use both makes it a less practical option for quick cleans than the WetJet, which I can typically use for multiple quick cleans before needing to change the pad. The smell of the Swiffer Sweeper Wet Pad Refill is fantastic and it leaves the kitchen smelling fresh and clean for days. It is also a lot easier to use than a traditional mop and bucket. The pad seals in the dirt and grime. When you first put the pad on the mop, it picks up a lot of dirt, but as you move along the floor it begins to dry out and picks up less. I've had to use 3-4 pads to clean the floor. This would become quite expensive to use regularly. Another issue that I found is with the strength of the pole. Some tougher spots on the floor require more pressure, and I didn’t feel the pole could handle this.
