Product works great, hard to find the correct staples to use in it. Store only carries one size.
Anyone working with contracts and binding them together will appreciate this stapler. It's weighty, easy to use, does a great job and slim for storing.
We bought this stapler because the previous heavy duty stapler broke and it was only about 6 months old. This stapler feels much sturdier and staples much easier. So far it works a 100% better than what we had before. I would recommend this to any office.
Swingline has a great product which is very reliable. My prior stapler lasted about 30 years and just ordered a new one. They are prompt in shipping and are a good company to order from.
Holds everything from 1/4" to 15/16" and is a real heavy duty stapler. Do the research on staples for this device, however. Not all advertised "heavy duty" staples fit well. I got this from ACCO brands, the manufacturer who recommend Staples brand and provided the numbers for various size staples and the number of sheets they should attach -- S7035314 ¼” - 25 sheets; S7035318 3/8” – 60 sheets; S7035312 ½” – 90 sheets; S7035319 ¾” – 160 sheets
this is a very nice stapler and works very well, when it wants to. Its easy to fix but sometimes it is a waste of time. but again it is a very nice stapler as long as its working
This was purchased to replace a very old Swingline which we stocked with 3/8" staples to handle larger print jobs, used by college students in our library. The old one would staple whatever was put into it and just curl the staple around the stack - if the stack was too small, the staple came back through to the front, but it still stapled. This one must have the correct length staple put in for the job according to the Swingline agent. So, the 3/8" staples jam when stapling 10 pages. Our stapler is useless as it is constantly jammed. Will be replacing it with one that does the flat cinch instead. This is good for repeated use on the same size stack of paper, not for the varying needs of the public as no one will swap out the staples on demand.
Do not waste your money on this machine. The stapler is large, very difficult to load staples into and doesn't work. It takes about 4 or 5 minutes of jimmying the machine to try to staple a document as the stapler jams, the staples do not penetrate the pages and the staples will not reload to the front without sticking a pen or some other object through the small slots on the side to move the staples forward, regardless of whether the document is 20 pages or 100 pages. After a lot of effort the machine may or may not staple the document, but the corners of the documents are shreded from trying to staple and removing partially imdedded staples. I thought it was the staples so I purchased the recommended heavy duty Swingline staples for the machine, but that made no difference.
Very difficult to use. Loading is not easy, it jammed and figuring out the correct way to open to clear it was not easy. the 1-800 number in book is for another company. had it for 3 days and have not been able to work. Purchased for a city office and sadly not ideal.
