Put this drop rack on my honda atv to carry tools while working on a land clearing project. Honestly because it was the best price I found at the time. No disappointment, it gets the job done, easy to mount. Plaining to pick another one up for the other atv.
I have owned my ATV for 7 years and always just set my tools on the flat rack. After using the ATV on a hunt and now booking another hunt, I decided to buy a basket drop rack. I looked around and the prices varied. Most reviews of the less expensive ones complained about the racks not fitting together square and they needed to drill new holes. Big deal! If they would have put the unit together loose then went around and tightened everything the problem would have most likely not existing. I was ready to buy the Swisher from a local store for 30% more than Walmart's prices, but then would have had another $10 in shipping, plus travel and gas to the store, 60 miles round trip. I saved a ton with the Ship to Home. I had no problems putting this rack on my 04 Polaris Sportsman 400. I removed the Polaris OEM rear rack bar, bolted the basket on and I aligned it so the oem rear rear rack would still fit in the mounting holes. Looks nice, I put an old double wide treestand seat cushion on the front part of the rack. I regularly ride double, most of the time with my dog. The rack basket holds a lot including 3 five gallon buckets. I wish I had bought this years ago.
Just a great item
The rack seems to be a good sturdy rack. Fit my 07 Grizzly like a glove. The mounting brackets are complete junk. I would highly recommend getting some ubolts to mount the rack. Also it was much easier for me to take off the factory rack, bolt the new one onto the factory and refasten the stock rack back to the atv.
Ecellent product for the price. Would recomend the product. Big basket to haul lots of stuff.
I installed this rack on an older model Honda Rancher (93) . I am not mechanically inclined but the install was easy. Seems to fit well and secure. Good product, will purchase another for my other ATV.
This is a two piece basket. It was easier to install than one piece baskets I have had before, and seems just as strong. Price was very good, and the FedEx shipping was inexpensive and very quick.
Nice rack !! Quality and well built. Probably would be a good idea to purchase some U bolts instead of the bolts & metal strips supplied. Wish I would have found this sooner.
