We purchased this canopy as a cover for our booth at a BBQ Competition and it exceeded our expectations in all catagories! It was easy to assemble and provided great shade cover. It even held up through the wind and rain overnight! Great product for the price...we definitely got our money's worth!
Bought this canopy to have at the local Blues Festival. it more than exceeded my expectations. Very easy to setup and take down. Handled wind and rain well without guy lines.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It was truly easy to put up. I did it all by myself and I am a smaller than avg woman. What I also like is that this canopy is not the usual rectangle or square. It is a hexagonal shaped canopy. I also appreciate that it has a silver lining on the underside of the top to help keep the heat down.
Got it for a good price and the quality is good. Very easy to set and put it back in thebag. Use dit twice since in windy and drizzly days, worked just fine. I did buy to use with it some weight bags to really stabilze it cause my back yard is kind of sandy. And I love the shape that gives u more set up options of seating.
This canopy was easy to put up and served its purpose well.
This item held up really well in a heavy rain and wind storm. It was easy to put up and take down.
Very happy so far!
We have had our canopy up for 3 weeks. It has not wavered through a few mild thunderstorms. Hexagonal design adds strength. Does NOT come with guy lines, or even a loop to attach them, so I don't know how it will handle heavy wind.
Our old E-Z Up tent had seen too many trips to the beach and I needed another one. I'm one of those fortunate people that needs 100% UV sun protection. I was looking for something a bit better than the Variflex Quick Shade, which I had seen in the stores and it is a good value, but I wanted some better sun protection than the fabric on the Quick Shade. The description really didn't indicate on whether the people *under* the tent were 100% protected from UV light, but that the fabric was 100% UV resistant. I couldn't really tell before buying (or after for that matter) but I decided to roll the dice anyway. Ship-to-store was quick as always. I took it home and immediately set it up in the back yard. First, the bag is cool in that the zipper is up the corner. Previous canopies zip up the middle which means lots of tucking when trying to return it back to the bag. Corner FTW. Also a win, is the handles of the bag. It is large, rounded handles that will make it much easier to carry than the handles on cheaper canopies. Yes, there are wheels and they're alright. The canopy was really tight the first time I put it on but after two times of putting it up and down, the fabric was already stretching to fit better. I was worried what problems having 6 posts would cause but the tent is so large I don't think it will really be an issue. Setup with two people is very quick. Setup with just one person goes quicker than you would think, quicker than with the four leg canopies. The corner buttons were smaller than I would have thought but large enough that it spreads the pressure out over your fingers and it is easy to put up and take down. I anticipate that the 6 sided tent will do *much* better in the high wind at the beach. I've lost canopies from the abuse of wind. The legs only have one height setting. It would be nice to have multiple height settings but 95% of the time, I put the tent all the way up anyway. Another issue is putting the legs up. With six legs, it is a little bit unnerving to balance the tent on three legs while moving to put up the fourth, then fifth leg before getting the final sixth leg up. Once I'm more confident with the tent, I'm sure this anxiety will go away. I was hoping that at $128, the fabric of the canopy top would be a double layer to help provide better UV protection. It's single fabric. When looking through the fabric at the sun, almost no sun pokes through so I guess that is good enough sun protection. I wish the canopy would be cheaper but I think it's a good compromise between cheaper canopies and the *much* more expensive canopies that cost twice as much.
The directions to this canopy were very bad. All pictures and no direction. It took 4 adults to put up and I couldn't help because you have to be tall enough to reach the snaps on top. Once up it did its job great and the wind wasn't a problem. Taking it down was quite easy, my husband did it with one other person. I suspect it will go easier each time but I won't be able to do it. It fit nicely back in the carry bag which suprised me, things usually don't go back so easily.
