I purchased a red one like photo and i love it one person said it rusted i have mine 6 years and mine did not To me it looked like she cooked the teabags in with the water i would purchase another if mine ever goes
It's fairly cheap, easy to set up. literally just plug the base stand into the wall. fill kettle with water, place onto the base plate and wait a few minutes. boils really quickly and is easy to pour with.
This pot was replacing another brand electric kettle that lasted for 10 years. That manufacturer no longer makes them unfortunately so I took a chance on this one, mostly because it matched my Kitchen and the T-fal name is generally a good one. I've been using it for 2 months now and it has worked perfectly. Fingers crossed I get half as many years from this one as my previous kettle!
T-fal are great products and this pot is no exception.
Our Vitesses 1.7L electric kettle finally gave up last week, & we had to look for a new one. This one appeared to have all the features we wanted, but it wasn't until we started using it that we discovered several things:
If you care of your health never buy the kettle. If you care of your health never buy the kettle. It rusts on the bottom. Plastic in its lid is of very poor quality, it lose its color and leaves the black powder on the surface of the lid, of the filter and on the edges of opening. I can't give even one stars for this kettle. It still worked, but I have thrown it away because of all I listed. Just wanted to say I very disappointed and angry.
