Got this to make lotion bars it was perfect for what I needed it for.
Fast Shipment, excellent price, and does exactly as represented. Will buy there again!!!!!
My product melted in the mailbox but I don't check the mail daily so it just melted in the heat. It solidified again in the kitchen and I was able to use it for my lotion without any problems.
Greats gkr giving skin the moisture it needs. Love it.
Great delivery and the product is what I have expected. Smooth on the skin and it smells nice too!
Worth every penny! I use this as a moisturizer. I usually warm it in my hands to change the texture from stuff to spreadable.
This seems to be good quality shea butter as far as function. It does the job and is easy to work with. However, the scent is so overpowering that I was unable to mask it with lavender or jasmine essential oils. Don't get me wrong, it's not necessarily a BAD smell, and it doesn't make you stink or anything - it's just not what I wanted my lotion to smell like. If you truly don't care about the scent, this product should fit your needs just fine.
I'm sure it's because it is derived from the African Shea Tree but it smells funny. So unless you are going to add a lot of strong smelling essential oils like I did, I wouldn't get this one. I added 1/4 cup coconut oil, 12 drops each - Young Living Copaiba, Wintergreen and Pan-Away to 3/4 cup of this shea butter, to make a Pain Away Cream.
They did not follow my delivery instructions and my package was stolen. I wrote them and they denied my request. I ended up having to order the same product from them again but on Amazon sent to a PO Box. This sucks!!
Maybe I was unaware what African Shea butter was, but It was recommended for my elderly Mom's skin by her doctor. So I ordered it and when I opened it was hard and not very pliable. But worse it smelled like vomit. It had to be mailed back, not returned to a Walmart store and the postage would be more than the refund so in the garbage it went. VILE
