Bought this for my daughters 3rd birthday and she loves it. She can play it with little to no help. She finished it in about 2 days and she plays it over and over again. It's great for her age because all the directions are explained by Dora so she can play it by herself. She doesn't get frustrated with it like she does games that have to be read to her. She also loves the mini games on it. I do think it is great for a young child, but an older child would probably get bored with it pretty fast.
