Used it for a road trip LA to SF and back. Put in cold water with a handful of ice. After 12 hours, ice had melted but water was still cold! Only problem I have is that it nicks easily. Don't know where it hit. Just saw it when I got back home. No spills when I sip. Spouts are easy to clean, too
I've been looking for a half gallon stainless steel jug for quite some time now, and after trying a couple 40 oz Takeya bottles, I decided I'd give their 64 oz stainless steel jug a try - and wow! This monster bottle is excellent! The carrying handle is perfectly sized and placed, the exterior powder coating finishing is sleek and comfortable in my hands, and it's not too heavy. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Takeya!
Whoever decided you needed bumpers is straight up brilliant. My bottle stays in plays better and doesn't get scratched up. We've also mixed up some different color bottles and bumpers to personalize them. Our family is a huge fan!
Excellent quality. Maintains cool liquids cool and hot stuff hot. Looks beefy and resilient. Only complain is that there is no vent so when drinking from the spout, liquids come out A-T a weird flow rate. I'm sure it's a compromise in order to have a hermetic seal. Not a big deal to me and not worth rocking out a star. Overall great product
So I have a friend that uses a Takeya water bottle for her job, and I needed one to stay hydrated at my own job so I bought this one to give it a try. It's perfect! Very heavy-duty and still able to hold the vinyl stickers I collect on it's surface to give it some flair. It keeps my water cool for most of the day and (so far) has not picked up any odd flavors if I add a dash of lemon juice or cucumber to my water. If I had to say something negative about it, it would only be that the lid and mouth piece cap aren't easy to clean without getting some small water bottle brushes to get in there and scrub with. It's also hard to get the rubber seals in and out to clean. But overall it's worth that little bit of work it takes to hand wash. I highly recommend a Takeya for on the job or workout!
I bought this bottle for our trip to Belize. It kept my water cold just as promised! My daughter was always stealing my bottle for a cold drink since I didn't go anywhere without it!
The 24oz size is great. Holds just enough water for an outing of a couple hours. The citron color is perfect. I have a 32oz bottle that I've loved for a couple years, and will continue to use, but it's nice to have a lighter, thinner bottle.
I love this thing! I get a new color every year. Keeps the liquids cold all day long, even without ice. Make sure to wash it like once a week if you use it daily, including the rubber pieces, so it doesn't get moldy. The little piece on the bottom is nice too, it holds it in place so you can twist open the cap easily.
Bought these a couple of weeks ago and I really love how well they work. However, tonight the pink one broke. The inside of the cap came apart when my daughter tried to open it.
I love the pebble color and the size of the bottle is perfect. The negative part is the inside portion of the insulated lid seems to be pulling apart from inside the spout. This slit has been getting bigger it seems daily. The bottle was never dropped and I've been very careful using the bottle. It is very disappointing as I am now concerned that mold will now form inside this area.
