With futuristic fantasy and dazzling visual effects, "Tales From A Parallel Universe" blasts off on an action-filled adventure that will take sci-fi fans where they've never gone before. When a wanton band of galactic marauders hijacks the most destructive weapon known to man, a mile-long spacecraft called The Lexx, the entire universe is threatened. But rather than destroy, these rebels seek to rebuild, desperately searching for the lost planet of Brunnis where they can restore their leader to life. Once on the planet, they are captured by Poet Man (Tim Curry, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Congo"), a holographic hooligan who doesn't realize that if the rebels perish, the entire universe will begin a course of total annihilation.
