This has been a good buy for me. My laptop was starting to overheat because it was sitting on a regular desk. This product has allowed the laptop to properly vent the heat out of the bottom. I wish I had thought to buy this product earlier.
This is the second one that I bought for my laptop. I used it all the time. I gave away the first one to my Mother because fell in love with it too! I would highly recommend buying this product.
This product keeps the heat off your legs and your furniture while letting the laptop air circulate. It is adjustable to whatever height you need to make it most comfortable for typing. Also, it has great non-slip pads that keep the laptop in place while you are doing your work, surfing the internet or typing a letter.
This lil device is great. It sits very well in my lap and on my side table. I never have any issues with it. Its a perfect fit for my HP laptop 15 inch. I even place it in my bed while I watch my online TV shows and its just great.
I've had my Acer Aspire laptop for almost 4 and a half years, but after first using it, I immediately noticed it got hot while sitting on my legs. I tried using a pillow but that only made things worse by completely blocking the cooling fan, so even though my legs stayed cool the laptop became even hotter! I saw this at Walmart for a very nice price, and am so happy and thankful I purchased it! The unit's completely adjustable and my laptop's never fallen or slid off, and is much cooler now no matter how often I use it. One neat little trick I use is to place a small pillow under the lapdesk, which supports both it and the laptop while keeping my legs cool so they don't get sore from supporting everything. I've no doubt my laptop would've burned up a long time ago without this awesome product! I highly recommend it to everyone!
I do recommend it but its just 'ok'. The way the stand holds up makes it rock in a odd way. My Thinkpad T61 doesnt seem to fit well either but its ok for now.
