for the price, it is a great deal. Ear pieces fit over the whole ear, great sound. Also like the carrying bag very happy with my purchase
THey are great headphones at a reasonable price. The only drawback is that they aren't available in the store and I had to order on line, I needed them for the next day. So it was a little inconvenience for me
Love the appearance the feel and most importantly the sound quality..
I bought a pair to try them out, and now I've ordered two more pairs. They are this cheap because Tascam are discontinuing them and clearing them out. My main use is monitoring in a home studio environment. I've enjoyed them for casual music listening as well. I don't think you'll find anything as good for the price.
Nice headphones for the price. Bass is a little muddy. Hi are good through mid range. Very comfortable. I listen to music for several hour intervals and the remain. Comfortable over ears. Fairly light weight. I would recommend for anyone looking for low cost headphones.
Terrific for the price, meets my expectations and more. Nice long cord, swivels on the ears make 'em comfy, onesided audio lead, two sizes of audio plugs...
Could use a little more bass..and yes, the sound could be better.. but the overall quality build, coupled with the decent sound quality of a product in this price range is pretty much amazing.
First pair I got only had one side in working order. The 2nd pair functioned properly. I spent $12.00 to ship the defective pair back to Walmart. $17 + $12= $29 plus an original shipping cost. A lovely experience.
The Tascam TH-02 are not an excellent pair of headphones. They are definitely uncomfortable, not painful but much worse than what I'm used to which is Audio Technica ATH-M50x. I bought these for tracking with microphones. I didn't do any mixing on them, opting just to use them as reference monitors. They sound pretty good but, with literally any other option that's higher quality, you'll be better off. For the money they're pretty good though. Naturally you are spending much less than a higher quality headphone and you very much get what you pay for. I would not buy these again if they broke. Their inherent value is too limited and I think I learned my lesson cheaping out.
The looks are deceiving. These are a low-end product. I was going to give them away, except they work ok as headphone monitors in my studio. I ended up using them in my vocal and drum isolation rooms. I definitely would NOT use them to mix, nor for everyday enjoyment. They are very FLAT, and have absolutely NO range. Construction wise, the cord is weak and flimsy where it connects....not a very good design! I don't anticipate them lasting long in that department. If you have a smaller head, these will NOT be for you. They fell off several times while playing drums... (but they DID work for sound ability to hear the other musicians over the drums while recording). I found myself readjusting while in the vocal booth as well. I bought a package deal thinking that I scored.... ....you pay for what you get.... ....that's all I have to say about that...
