i really love this product. When making bread or cinnamon rolls i can use this item to cut my rolls in the size i need them. And i really love the scraper to scrape my bowls out completely and there is nothing left in the bowl. And on the items there is measurements that come in real handy. Every baker that is in the kitchen should have one of these. It is a great product.
The scraper is great, helps clean up my counter tops smoothly. Scrapes of every last bit. Cuts nicely through body butter too. I use it with my candle business with my body butters. Helps to cut through big chubks of butter. The measuring device is handy when I need a quick reference.
I wasn't expecting the Scraper to be so large. I was imaging the size of a spatula without the stick. To my surprise it was double the size! Im not complaining as it does get every last big out of the bowl. My kids definitely fight over who gets to lick it
I used these the first day. I even used the metal scraper to cut the brownies evenly. My grandson who is a chef wants them too. He said the conversion chart is so handy.
I've been baking bread for years, but just recently started working with sourdough. It's a whole other beast and requires a different set of tools. I found myself needing a good set of scrapers and this Tasty set is perfect! Sourdough dough is very wet and difficult to handle with just your hands. The silicone coated scraper is perfect for lifting and folding the dough and scraping it out of the bowl. The flat scraper comes in amazingly handy for picking it up and moving it, and also for shaping it! I love that the metal scraper has measurements on it. It makes cutting certain doughs a breeze! The equivalency measurements on the coated scraper are so helpful as well! When I am not using it, I keep it hanging up so I can refer to it while working in the kitchen. They aren't just handy for sourdough of course.... I find myself reaching for the metal scraper when I am portioning out dough for buns and rolls. It cuts right through the dough and helps me be more efficient! I just love the teal color... it really adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen tools. They clean up really easily too. I can't wait to try some more of Tasty's kitchen tools!
I'm not an extreme baker but these are a nice addition to my kitchen. They look nice and are made very well. They are both very sturdy. The metal one is great for lifting dough from the pastry sheet. Pros: -Pretty -Functional -Well made Cons: -None Overall I would recommend if you do any baking.
