I always like the coffee tasty cakes but the last box I got it wow super fresh and a lot of cream in it. I don't know what change but keep making them like this and you got a customer
I bought a box a few weeks back and now I always have a box on my snack shelf! Ridiculously good!
I recently bought the Koffee Kakes because I hadn't had them in awhile. I was soooo disappointed in the quality of the Koffee Kakes. The cake was dry, there was barely any filling and the crumbles on top were sparse. I used to eat these years ago in my school lunch. The cakes were also noticeably smaller. Very poor quality overall. I would rather pay alittle more for a better product. This was very disappointing.
The cake part was dry. They are not cream filled. They have a dot of cream on top of them about as big as a dime. Was very disappointed!
TastyKake, you should be ashamed and embarrassed to sell such abominations. These used to be delicious. I'm officially boycotting all of your products.
Once upon a time, these were actually cream-filled as the package photo shows. Now? There is a minimal squirt of cream on the outside, and eating one reminds me of trying to swallow a mouthful of sand (yes - they are that dry). Apparently TastyKake either performs no quality control or simply doesn't care. Or maybe both. Regardless, both TastyKake and my love for this product are now dead to me. Shame on you TastyKake!
We travel to PA a few times a year and I always look forward to getting a package of these. The last few times I have bought them there has been NO filling inside. None. A dot on the top but absolutely nothing inside. I kept thinking I might be getting an “off” one each time but now after subsequent purchases, I will finally give up on these. Today was the last time I pay for these cakes advertised as “creme filled.”
I bought this product because I love coffee cake and thought creme filling would make it even better, however I'll never know because out if the 2 boxes I purchased every single "cupcake" has had a single dot of creme on the top and exactly zero creme inside. Dry to the bone completely a waste, I only continued to eat them hoping maybe it was just a bad batch.
I tried tastykake koffeekake creme filled cupcakes today for the first time. I bit into 95% dry cake with virtually no filling, very little flavor, very disappointing, definitely nothing tasty here. Will not purchase again.
Last box was stale. Kinda having second thoughts about buying again but I'll give it a go.
