I liked it so much, and it was simple enough to use, that I got one for my parents! Pros/How it works: When I first got the scale, I couldn't figure out how to get the functions to work. READ THE 2pg MANUAL! I found it to be very simple. *In order to get your BMI, Cal Count, Body Weight, Water Weight, and every other reading, you have to program the scale. It was very EASY! *Now when I step on the scale, after putting in my assigned number, the scale reads my measurements. If I do not put in my assigned number, done by pressing the arrow keys, the scale will only tell me my body weight. *The buttons are large enough to press with your toes, making it convienent to plug in your assinged number. CON: *For my personal preference, the scale screen is a little too small. The blue background makes it a little difficult for me to read the black lettering. However, since the scale saves your information, if you chose to put in your number, it is easy to look at the numbers again. *Also, if you step on the scale differently, different foot placement, the scale tends to read your measurements a little differently. I put two stickers, one for each heel, to help fix this little problem, but ALL electric scales have this problem. From looking around on the internet, walmart appeared to have the best price for this scale Hope this helps and is not TLDR! :)
I didnt expect after reading reviews of several other similar body scales that this scale will be super acurate at this price but not only did it after using a few times start showing the same results each day, week or month it was also not even capable to accurately only show your current actual weight. Sometimes it depends on the direction of the scale, flooring etc. but that was a complete fail even mastering to show acurate weight. If it at least did that I didnt not have to get rid of it and it would at least serve as a regular scale... NADA... Instead I have to buy a new scale, adding environment and pollution by getting rid of this after just a few months of useless space blocking... Really disappointed.
Bought the scale for all of the great features, BUT stopped working within 90 days!!! While the body fat reading, hydration and max cal were the only feature I was able to get working, the weighing feature stopped working. I would step on the scale and it would continue to read 0.0 lbs. While some might say that was a good reading, its not quite with I was hopping for. The scale was a little difficult to navigate. Was a little bit of a pain to get the mulit user function to work. I happened upon the "just weigh" feature. I returned the item and started the seach for another scale with these features and low price. I hate that the mfr troubleshooting didn't help either. I thought about buying the same scale in hopes that it was just a bum scale in the lot. However, stuck to my guns and didn't chance getting another scale with the same issues.
The scale is supposed to have several measurements including BMI and body fat. The only thing it did was give me my weight. The directions said if you can't get it to measure BMI, try dampening your feet, that didn't work. We took the batteries and out started over, nothing worked. I returned it and bought a Health-O-Meter scale and it had all the same functions and worked right out of the box.
