Absolutely delicious. A stunning salad. This salad kit introduced me to so many new foods - I had never tried escarole, endive, or radicchio before trying this salad. I gave it a chance because I LOVE basil, balsamic, and feta cheese. It did NOT disappoint! I buy this salad multiple times a week now and never get tired of it! I love to add a simple grilled chicken for more protein and an extremely filling meal.
Love the crunch of the veggies and breadstick pieces, along with tartness of the feta. One of my favorite salad mixes! Only downside is it turns brown quickly, so you have to eat it within 3 days.
I liked the salad itself but the bag seemed lighter than it should have been. I weighed it and it was 9.2 oz vs the 11 oz it should have been. Very disappointing.
The salad was fresh and crunchy. The texture and taste of the feta was off. The dressing was not good to me at all. I wish I'd have just made my own dressing. I've loved all of the other salads from this brand so the bad taste was a bit shocking for me. I'll continue to buy Taylor Farms salads, just not this flavor.
I really enjoy this salad, tastes great, love the textures. But look at this pic, the product now fills less than half the bag and it's just feeling less and less worth the price. Disappointed.
It looked old when I received it today. But I ate it anyway. BOY! Did IGET SICK!!! Within 10 minutes of eating this salad, I experienced so much pain. I ran to the bathroom to get to the toilet just in time to vomit with runny stool that lasted over 20 minutes! The cramping was unbearable, to say the least! Laying down, etc., didn't work at all.
both bags contain rotten, liquified salad greens. Picker would have seen this immediately! requesting immediate refund
Normally this salad is excellent, but it had much less salad this time. Only 2 cups when measured. Maybe my bag went through the automated packaging too fast. Who knows.
The Taylor Farms Mediterranean salad kit had an expiration date of 11/9 and a sticker which said price was reduced to $1.49 but I was charged the full price of $3.98. I'm probably going to have to toss it out, because it looks wilted.
