That's why Taylor teamed up with D'Addario to create specially-designed, custom nylon-core strings with phosphor bronze wrap wire. These strings offer great tone, but enough flexibility to make the playing experience enjoyable for anyone. Taylor also came up with a dual pronged patented bridge pin design for this model, to assure the strings can be quickly and efficiently replaced, but without compromising the strength of their hold. Taylor also threw in die-cast chrome tuners, a tortoise pickguard and a three ring rosette. Plug and Play Electronics To cap it all off, the GS Mini-e Maple Bass can be amplified to share its sweet low-end sound with a larger audience. Taylor's ES-B electronics system is featured in this instrument, making use of the Taylor Expression System 2 Piezo design elements.
