Tetra Brand products are really the Best, doesn't cloudy the water unless you over feed, which with goldfish, they'll always act like it's not enough food! Then you're definitely going to get dirty/cloudy water from all the poop! 😊 I've tried several,always come back to tetra, it's worth the extra cost.

Our goldfish really like the flakes as opposed to the pebble food better; the pebble food by the same company takes awhile to soften for them to take in; this works a lot better! We have had one of our goldfish for 7 years and this is all we feed them and he went from a 11 cent feeder fish to a beautiful huge goldfish! As far as dislike it's stinky but it is after all fish food!
I did not expect this container to be so large great deal for the price. They should last me for a long time.
I have a large-ish urban pond. The original stock are feeder goldfish. Raccoons permitting, I often have some pretty large fish from year to year (they overwinter with the help of a pond heater to clear a hole in the ice). Mostly they eat algae, pond plants, bugs, etc. But every morning spring-summer-fall we have the turning on of the waterfall and the feeding of the flakes ritual. Water begins to splash down and fish race from the deep end for The Flakes, poking their noses up and jockeying for position. During Covid I tried other flakes, etc, when this product was unavailable. No go. They would just let it float. It's part of the ritual more than the food, I think, and they like Tetra Flakes in the orange container when the human comes to greet and count them each morning. BTW, raccoons like these flakes, too.

Works really well for my fish and also my plekko likes it too. It seems to have all of the nutrients they need to get enormous!
I purchase 2 of these buckets to feed my small fish. I have a large pond and this is very cost effective and I recommend this product!
The Goldfish flakes got crushed by an unordered 4.5 pound box of Mott's Applesauce. Who packed this? Didn't they read the order or even think about a 4.5 pound box packed in the cheap plastic envelope with no packing and no structure... the Goldfish Flakes didn't have a chance! I need a replacement today! My goldfish need to eat NOW! See photos of damages!
