I did not have a calculator in the house at all and was using my cell phone for that. Was not fun at all. I wanted something small as I usually do bills in bed and did not want a cord or even something with the roll of paper attached to it. This is the perfect size and plus it does not need any batteries. One of the best things that I ever bought for something I really needed. Highly suggest getting one.
I have been an accountant for 30 years, so a good 10key is a must! This purchase was downsizing from a full sized keyboard, as I am not working full time anymore and need my desk space for other pursuits. I selected this particular calculator for the size of the keyboard, it is close to a regular 10 key size and the individual keys are just a little smaller than finger size. Happily this small light calculator is perfect and I can still calculate by touch without worry! I do wish it had a battery though, as it is a little sensitive to the amount of light and often a stack of books or papers dims out the screen to unreadable....
