This sensor is awesome. I used it on the new ninja Woodfire outdoor grill and it is really a game changer. That grill cooks so much faster than you read about anywhere. So the sensor is almost necessary. The chicken came out great and it saved our ribeyes.!

just used this yesterday for the first time. it worked perfectly. I'm not very experienced with things required to set up, but it went fine. Temperature was very accurate. I highly recommend.
Used twice so far in a Weber Spirit grill. No connection issues. Battery held up fine for ~ 30min each time. Temp below 300F. For searing I removed the temperature probe. Actually works better than after the meat cools, but has to be done with care since the probe is hot to touch!
Best money I have ever spent on a thermometer! It's about the same price as 4 instant read ones that seem to get worse in quality every time I need one. I did a 7lb pork shoulder for my first time using the spike and I was blown away with how good it turned out! Highly recommended!
This is amazing. I love how it has an app, and it works beautifully. I cook a lot of steak in my diet this always turns out perfect steaks! I can't wait to try it with other things!
Plastics are kind of cheap feeling.
Only used it about 3 or 4 times since purchasing but seems pretty accurate. Perfect for rotisserie on the grill! I like that the base that the thermometer charges in doubles as a range “booster” to increase range!
Five stars for the high quality and brilliant design! The Wi-Fi range is amazing and charging is quick. My only complaint is how deep the probe must be inserted into the meat (~3 inches) to accurately work (according to the User Guide). I mostly grill chicken pieces or fish stoat are too small to cover that range, but it's been easy to adapt.
Since receiving the item, made sure it was fully charged. The probe will not connect to the booster. No matter what. i've tried as many way as possible. I'll searches on Internet. I have tried. Don't waste your money on this item.
