My son loves this along with all of his other Take-n-Play Thomas trains. It connects with the Percy and the Mail and Thomas at the Farm which is really nice.
My son loves Thomas and Friends. He started with the Wooden Railway version of the toys, but recently fell in love with the Take-n-Play version of the toys as well. As a parent and a person who is on a tight budget, I want to recommend this product especially at the this particular price of $7.97 simply because most trains in the line cost $5.99 and up. If you prefer the wood trains then you know that you usually spend 4-6 more dollars per train. With this set you get a train- Sir Handel- who your little one probably does not already have (since almost every set seems to come with Thomas) and a nice little playset that your child can take to Grandma's or on a road trip to the store. The description does not mention that the little shed titled "Great Waterton" can only house one train in it, or that a train with a coal car will not fit, or that to access the compartment you have to pull on the hole in the window. Sir Handel (and the set as a whole) is smaller than the pictures indicate, but that doesn't really matter to the one who plays with it. We are very excited to link it to the other set we have and expect hours of entertainment out of this small investment.
