[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved opening each of the days. She enjoyed using the train track box and played with it for at least an hour when she got it. Her chief complaint was there was no Santa Claus train. She liked the mix of holiday trains and regular trains. The trains are small, so that works great for storage!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about a week and my boys love playing with the mini trains. There is an excellent selection of various types of trains which makes it perfect for a kid that is just starting a Thomas collection. However, it's great to have a couple duplicates of the favorites like Thomas since these are small so they may get lost in the bottom of your purse. They are lighter than the metal ones that weigh down my bag and hurt my shoulder. The holiday decorated engines and train cars were immediate favorites for my boys. Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mini Thomas Christmas calendar is the best thing I got my son he's obsessed with anything Thomas! He had a kick seeing which mini train he would get. The Christmas details on the trains are really good love the one where there is the snowflake on one of the trains tongue! They are sometimes a little hard to get out of the package I did have to help my son but other than that awesome package especially the train track which my son loved!

The trains a miniature size and all can link together to make a giant parade of trains. They enjoyed placing all the trains back inside the days and taking them out again. The box can be used as a track too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great advent set to give to your Thomas Loving child. Each piece is immediately playable (not like other advent sets, were you have to build items or wait a number of days to get playable pieces). You get all the major Thomas characters plus an assortment of box cars to connect to the trains. The built in "track" is a nice addition (see attached photo). All the Christmas trains/box cars are beautifully painted and love the detail on each of them. Can't wait until the start of Advent to have my son pull open the day number and discover the wonderful Thomas toy underneath!

This is better then other advent calendars we have gotten. We even ordered a track off of Amazon for them to go on. The only down fall is they don't link up the best and stay linked. Other then that they lived all the Christmas themed trains!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun advent calendar for kids I love the it has a board with a railroad pictured on it so my son can drive on the board and pretend to go somewhere with his train. It came with 24 different wagons . During the countdown to Christmas day the kids can discover one wagon behind one window and they can connect the wagons to make a whole train and then use the board to ride their train to an imaginary place.
I'm giving it 5 stars for now because it looks exactly as described in the ad. It is however a Christmas item, so until it's opened by my son, I can't give a more thorough review. But I imagine everything will be great. So 5 stars
Bought for my son and he's excited to start opening each door leading up to Christmas. It's super cute and such a great price for so many mini's.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (3 and 5, boys) absolutely love the Thomas Mini trains. They have quite a few of them. They get so excited about all the different ones, so much so that I used them as potty prizes when we were potty training. The advent calendar is a big hit for them. The front opens to show the doors and on the back of the cover is a little train track that they can play on and drive their trains around. It has 24 doors, so 24 different engines. Some of them we already had from other sets, (classic Thomas, Percy with the letters for Santa, and gingerbread house Toby for example), but there are some really cool new ones in here. My kids really liked the troublesome truck full of christmas cookies and Emily as Mrs. Claus. The favorites from this calendar had to be the Flying Scotsman and the Rocket, we haven't had those characters as minis before. With 2 kids, advent calendars can be an exercise in sharing, or an opportunity for meltdowns depending on their age and sharing ability. We take turns- 1 day 1 child opens a door and the next day the other child opens it. If its affordable we just get 2. This continues to be our preferred calendar because it's not chocolate, they will get played with and theres a train behind each door, no filler items or fluff.
