I started taking this zinc for my immune health but a wonderful side effect has been what it's done for my skin! I tried to buy zinc supplements from other brands and just didn't have the same noticeable results, particularly for my skin. Thorne's zinc is the most absorbable form and every product of theirs is of the highest quality.
I'm on the carnivore diet, a multi-vitamin/mineral, and this, and my hair is quite healthy. A few years ago I had been (regretfully) put on a second dose of Accutane and my hair got so thin! It was awful. At last, after being on the carnivore diet and taking a couple of supplements, my hair is growing back.
With the Covid 19 and flu around the corner, we added zinc to our diets per doctor suggestion. Thorn is a reputable brand and zinc picolinate is supposed to be easily absorbed into the body.
This supplement is wonderful at helping my skin issues from the inside out. I noticed a big difference in the frequency of breakouts, and the price point can’t be beat!

Thorne Research supplements are excellent, and my immune system is strengthened by the Zinc Picolinate.
Excellent quality, good amount, easy to swallow.
15 mg of zinc per day is within recommended guidelines for supplements. Higher strengths can cause depletion of copper and cause other medical problems. This zinc is very effective in boosting my immune function, such as wound healing, helping with symptoms of allergies, and keeping me healthy overall. I have tried other brands before without similar results. I take one daily.
Thorne has excellent zinc supplements. I tried several brands and types but finally landed on Thorne’s Zinc Picolinate supplement. I initially began taking it to support my immune function, but found that it also improved my sleep, which was a great additional benefit. I noticed that improvement within days!
I have been taking this supplement and feel good about it. Then again, I felt good prior to taking it. I am going to re-order this product when I am finished with it.
