Aquapel worked fantastically! Easier to apply than Rain-X. Very pleased!!!
WOW What a treat , Ican't believe how well it works. I'm a little spoiled now Need this for the rain on the freeway works great
Contrary to other reviews, I did all 6 windows on my Camry with one applicator. Cleaned w Windex first. The first window (windshield) got plenty of liquid. The last window got just enough to lightly cover. I don't think it takes much liquid to do the job. Keep moving the applicator quickly in different directions, watch your coverage because it will get pretty thin, but just keep going till you are done. Put it on 2 weeks ago, got caught in a Houston rain storm, all windows worked as expected. No opinion on longevity yet.
We have just applied this to our frameless shower door. We will see in a week or so how well it works. But easy to apply.
Product really works well
If you live where it rains a lot (I'm in the PNW) you need to try Aquapel. I apply it in the fall to the windshields on all our vehicles. Water just beads up and blows off. It helps your wipers clear your windshield. It's easy to apply yourself (some repair shops will charge you $30 for this service. The key is to get your windshield completely clean before you apply. Get some glass cleaner and clean rags and clean it 2x at least. Lots of videos available online to show you how to do it, as the packaging doesn't give much info. Take care not to spill it on paint or trims. It takes one applicator per windshield, and buying in bulk really saves you $$. Family members thank me for applying it to their vehicles.
Shipped with no instructions whatsoever. Easy enough to find via google. Haven't tried them yet.
This product seems to work as advertised, but the applicators are packed loose and do not come with instructions. It is necessary to go to the manufacturer's Web site to learn how to use the product. That site is not really very good, but the info is there. First-time users should watch the videos all the way through.
I recently purchased a single Aquapel applicator and was satisfied with the results. I wanted to treat my wife's car and researched to find a better price. The offer from Walmart was the best value so I bought the three pack deal. All arrived as promised and it was apparent why the cheaper price. The three applicators came unpackaged in a re-pack shipping envelope...not a problem but no instructions on how to use. Plenty of information on the computer on how to use (do not get on paint, wipe off before product dries, etc.) so not a problem. I saw on the applicators what looked like a date that had expired so guess that was the reason for the cheaper price. It also seemed like there may not have been the same amount of liquid chemical as in the higher priced unit. I got the windshield treated OK but did not have any left to do a light application on the rear window. The originally packaged applicator appeared to have plenty of liquid to do both front and rear windows. If you want to save a few dollars and do not need fancy packaging with written instructions this deal may serve you well.
We bought this product as it advertises to clean shower doors. However, one application is only enough for one windshield on a car. There is not enough product for shower doors. We are returning it.
