I swear, I haven't been this impressed in a long time. This bowl looks like something from pottery barn or restoration hardware. It's supposed to be unique to each individual piece and looks very artesian. So happy with this! No regrets!
Ok, this bowl is very nice. Great weight. Great finish. All around great look. It's for soup, but I put in baked broccoloni and cheese and pork roast.... The roast was juicy, donut was great to keep the au jus pooled and not all over my other food. It's dishwasher safe and microwave safe... So that's great news too. The bowl did not get too hot even when full of hot stuff, so no rings on my wood table. I think this bowl would even be great on a foyer table for emptying pockets of keys, change and chapstick. It's so pretty that it hardly looks like dinnerware.
This bowl is wonderfully surprising as to how heavy and heavy duty it seems to be made. I love the matte color and gold trim. Beautiful and elegant. Great for soup, small salad or anything you please! Dishwasher and microwave safe and absolutely perfect for dinner with company or just every day too.
This soup bowl looks very simple and stylish. The black color of the bowl definitely improves the presentation of the food. Eventhough it's a soup bowl, I can see it being used for other purposes too. It can be used to serve pasta, appetizers and even salad. It's a little under 8 in wide and about 2 in tall. It's stoneware so may get hot in the microwave. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. Eventhough it's stoneware, it's light which is great. It has a copper color line on the edge for a very simplistic design. It came packed very well with lots of bubble wrap but I noticed there were a tiny white scratch on the inside of the bowl which most probably happened before the packing. I love this bowl and look forward to using it for my dinner parties.
Favorite bowl in the house now! Not too big and not too small! Love that it's a little wider and not as deep that way my soup cools faster! Haha! Not only does it pass to my liking but this thing is super durable too!! It seriously was shipped in one layer of bubble rap and a box that fit snug around it and made it! And makes it through my kids roughness! Highly recommended especially if you're like me and have trouble finding something that is super nice and pretty but also durable!
This Thyme & Table onyx soup bowl looks very nice and it is somewhat heavy and sturdy. I feel like it's quite durable but with that being said, it did scratch already which was surprising. Beyond that, it's a great bowl and I love how it looks. I use it for soup and snacking as well as salad.
The unique color and simple design makes this bowl both functional and stylish... I like that this bowl is microwave safe and is easy to wash... It is perfect for soups and salads, and would even be great for use as a candy dish or fruit bowl... I might also use this in the bathroom to hold small items such as soaps and bath bombs or on a dresser to hold hair accessories or jewelry... This would be nice to fill with small kitchen or bath items or candy and given as a gift!
This bowl is bigger than other regular bowls, but more shallow. It's less like a cereal bowl and more like a pasta bowl. It's heavy and solid, which I like, but it came with a sticker that left residue, which I do not like. It would look really nice if you were having people over and wanted to put out crackers or nuts, especially. It's very elegant.
Goes well with my decor, since the colors within my home are neutral. Simple, sturdy, and microwavable with a sense of style. The color of gold trim around the rim of the soup bowl, is what makes this smooth unpretentious onyx bowl modern with a touch of elegance.
The soup bowl looks really nice on the table. The size is perfect for one plate of soup. The color makes it look elegant. The material is not high quality, after a few washes you can start noticing some scratches from the spoon. I placed a fork inside the plate for size reference.
