This lemon squeezer is the bees knees. It is great quality and heavy duty. Not worried about it snapping while I am squeezing lemons. The gold is such a beautiful chic look. So far I haven't had any seeds slip through the holes. It is nice and big but still easy to hold. There is a loop at the end if you want to hang it on a hook instead of keeping it in the drawer.
This Thyme & Table manual citus juicer/squeezer is a true heavyweight tool for your collection! I was able to squeeze vitually every last drop of liquid from a somewhat larger than usual lemon. And, the pulp stayed contained in the juicer. The highly polished gold-tone finish is very attractive, but it is NOT dishwasher-safe, unfortunately. A little warm soapy water and a sponge, rinse, and it's clean as a whistle! I've never understood that expression. I mean, how clean is the average whistle?? I do recommend immediately rinsing, though, because the juice is acidic and could possibly eat away at the finish with prolonged exposure. No matter how forcefully I squeezed the lemom, this juicer/squeezer never showed any signs of flexing, bending or breaking. Try that with a plastic or lightweight metal one, and you'll probably be regretting your purchase. This juicer/squeezer is everything I hoped it would be. We'll be using it for fish, lobster, and for anything where lemon or lime juice adds good flavor, and reduces our desire for salt.
I was surprised how heavy this citrus juicer is. I am so glad that I finally got one. I have other juicers, but I have to pick all the seed out after I squeeze the fruit. This one strains out all the seeds, saving me time. It's very solid and does not feel like something that will fall apart. The only con, I can see, is that you can't really use it for oranges.. It won't hold anything larger than a large lemon. That's ok with me because I usually use lemon or lime juice. I can't remember the last time I needed to squeeze an orange.
This is a great tool to make sure you get all your juice from your citrus items. I make cocktails a lot that call for citrus and it's easy to use and extracts all the juice. Thw holes dont allow seeds to go through and just fresh juice. It's also pretty look at with its gold like finish.
This citrus press is so handy to use ! This is my go to for baking using lemons and oranges. This is so easy to use as well. I have been making fresh orange juice with this for a couple of weeks now. Not ever day Lol but I do love the outcome with the flavors of fresh juices. I even added this to my sun tea by pressing lemon threw this and lime for drinks! Absolutely perfect for any kitchen! Also baking for recipes that need lemon and adding the juice to it. Would highly recommend this try it out
This citrus press is just as durable and useful as it is beautiful. It's made with high-quality heavier metal that holds up wonderfully while juicing a picture of fresh orange juice or lemonade. I enjoy adding different citruses to my meals and fresh squeezed juices so I actually use this quite often. I was suprised at the weight and how heavy it was, it feels like it helps make the juicing easier even. The ergonomic handle is comfortable and easy to use. The shiney golden color so pretty and charming, I actually keep this out on my counter at all times because it really is a beautiful tool. This is, by far, the best and most gorgeous looking citrus press I have ever had.
It is a juicer.. The problem with most of the "squeezers" is that they are flimsy and just do not last. That is NOT an issue here. This is a very robust squeezer. Heavy and well built. Pro's: Very well built. Sturdy and heavy. Works well. Con's: None
I use lemons every day for my salad, for my water, for my tea, you get it. I also get a lot of pain in my hands while trying to squeeze it as much as I could. This beautiful and luxurious looking juicer came to save me. It is so convenient and easy to use. Sturdy (strong material) but so easy to use Fits my lemons perfectly, squeeze them and take all the juice out so easy. My favorite feature is the gold color to match all my kitchen decor. It looks so fancy! Love it and can't recommended enough.
Mix feelings about this product. It is heavy for my liking. It's is nice quality don't get me wrong. I was a little skeptical since it is gold color that with the acid it was going to start peeling or cracking but I've been using it at least twice a week for a month and a half and it hasn't peel or changed color at all. Works well does what it's supposed to do. Easy to use easy to wash. Overall good product.
The weight and coating of the Thyme & Table Hand Held Gold Manual Juicer Citrus Squeezer certainly gives the appearance and feel of a gold bar molded into the shape of a squeezer. The product is a two-piece unit that has one solid cupped ladle folding into another similar ladle with holes at the bottom of it to allow juice to flow thru. The squeezer works just fine with a citrus portion in between the two handled ladels. However, one then must put a bowl under it to catch the liquid or put it over the in-process entree or side dish. The question I have is, why not include a third handled ladle at the bottom to catch the liquid, if preferred over the two other options? Additionally, why must the unit not be soaked or put into a dishwasher. Most American families prefer to clean cooking and serving utensils in the dishwasher, not by hand, just as they prefer to clean clothes in a dishwasher and not by hand. Nevertheless, it is what it is and can still be used efficiently but as designed and marketed.
