Based on the award-winning Ticket to Ride, now set in turn-of-the-century Europe with brand new gameplay elements. Compete with other players to build train lines across Europe, attempting to complete secret routes drawn at the beginning of the game. Part set collection, part area control, Ticket to Ride Europe challenges players to be constantly aware of the board state, which cards they need, and which their opponents might be keeping for themselves. Lavishly illustrated game board. Ticket to Ride Europe is a great strategy board game for children, teens, and adults, ages 8 and older.

We play this game 4 times a week. My 13 year old loves to play. Easy game to learn.
My son loves the original Ticket to Ride game; this one adds a couple of new rules that keep things from getting too blocked off. Interesting additions, although the original game is more straightforward and easier to start with. There are a lot of different versions of this game, this is one of the best, especially for those who already play the basic game.
This game doesn't at first seem like it will be that good but it is awesome. I was first introduced to this game(the original version) by my son and daughter in law; my husband and I were skeptical at first but even before we finished the first game we knew we loved "the train game". Since our son and his wife will be moving soon, we both felt we needed to get our own game. It is fun to play and constantly a new challenge. I bought the Europe version for my husband for father's day and he was so thrilled with this game. The Europe version seemed a bit harder at first because of the names of the towns being unfamiliar but this game is amazing. Another great thing about this game is you can have just as much fun playing with 2, 3,4, or 5 players. It's nice to find a challenging, interesting game that makes you think, plan and compete even for just 2 players. We can't wait to but the expansion pack.
I actually bought this game as a gift, but we have our own set all ready and it's my favorite of the Ticket to Ride games. It is a little more difficult to learn than the America version, but the train cards are normal size versus half sized in America, and having a few more rules makes for more variation in the game. Would also highly recommend buying the expansion for this game which includes more destination cards including the "Big Cities" cards which are the best way to really get the most points in this game.
Wanted game my hubby and I could play together. He is a gamer and I am not. Wanted something that would itch his need for strategy games but not take all day to play. Give it two times, so you can learn the rules, and you will be hooked. Now on average 45 minute game. Better than watching tv together after kids go to bed. Spawns great conversations. Would be good with friends as well.
Great concept for education and family fun. This version stands alone. I also purchased the 1910 add on to the original one which they already own. Ages are now 9-13 but they started playing this several years ago.
Our whole family loves this game. It's great for both kids and adults.
This is a game the older members of my family love. It's especially fun if you've traveled to some of the locations on the map.
This is a WONDERFUL game. My son's friends call it "Ticket to Addiction" because it's so fun to play. In addition to being fun, it teaches geography. It's a bit expensive but I'm SO glad we bought this game!!!
Good game. Strategies your route to get the most points and the longest train.
