[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids go through pencils so quickly and Ticonderoga are our go to brand. They sharpen flawlessly and don't break easily. Our toddler is learning to write her name and ABC's and we love the triangle pencils to help her grip better. It helps stabilize so she can focus more on the actual letter itself. She doesn't have to worry about the pencil rolling away.

They are triangular shaped, making them incredibly easy for small children to hold. And even though they are triangular they can still be sharpened in a large sized pencil sharpener. The lead never even breaks! My 3rd grader loves them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I started using Ticonderoga Laddie Pencils and I have seen improvement in my kids hand writing. I didn't realize that my kids would hold their pencils incorrectly, but after a couple of days of using Laddie pencils, their now holding them correctly. Their triangle shape makes it super easy to grip and it also helps to glide on the paper. You also get quite a few in the box which is great. I definitely recommend Ticonderoga.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 4 and just learning how to really write letters and numbers etc. I came across these pencils by Ticonderoga and I'm so happy to have them. They are the standard length of traditional pencils, have larger erasers and are triangular shaped which was way way easier for my son to hold comfortably and easily. They feel a little chunkier so it's easier to grip. They sharpen great and one sharpen seems to last quiet a bit of time. The erasers work VERY well as he decided to try to write on a non paper surface! But it came right out with the eraser. I am very pleased with these pencils as well as my little one and they will last us a long time! They are durable and made with quality.

I used them as well and I like the shape much better. It feels like a more natural grip than the standard shape. Another bonus is that they don't tend to roll off a slanted surface. The writing is smooth and they erase well.

My stepdaughter who's 8 years old & in the 3rd grade has been using these for school & at home from homework & loves them so much! She loves the triangular design of the pencils, how the lead writes smoothly & also that the pencils give off a woodsy smell & the lead smells nice as well. The eraser does a great job with erasing all your mistakes & does a very smooth job with erasing. The design of the package is different & unique for a box of pencils which is good because it does a great job of standing out from other regular pencils out there! I love the different greens that are used for the box along with the splash of yellow & the look of the pencil on the box as well. And the cute triangular cut out so you can get a feel of the pencils is a great idea! The pencils are made out of a premium type of cedar wood & they're a intermediate beginner pencil. They're good for students of all ages, to write or draw with as well. Me & my stepdaughter recommend this product to be used by everyone!

My 7 year still doesn't one correctly, so having these teaches him the right way to do it. You can use a regular pencil sharpener to sharpen them. No need for special sharpener.

These are the next step up from the Big thick beginner pencils. These teach the kids to hold smaller ones with accuracy of regular pencils while they are beginning to write or draw.

The triangle shape do help her hand to stabilize the grip and make it easier for her to move and push the pencil in same time. Highly recommended.
