I bought these online, for my 4 year old students. They are much easier for beginning writers to hold properly. They are easier for anyone to use! The website did not mention how many were in the pack- I was pleasantly surprised to find there were 36. I had priced these at other online retailers but Walmart.com beat all the other prices!

My daughter is in kindergarten and when we are doing her homework she either loses the pencials or she has a hard time holding it right. Well these pencials are made different and they are actually made for littles fingers and she can grip it a hole lot better and I have seen that her hand writing is much neater. It also has a big good size eraser on the top and like regular pencials little either brake the eraser off when trying to erase or tear a whole in there paper well this one erases good an the little ones dont have a hard time good pencils in my opinion worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old daughter has been practicing writing her name in crayon. So, getting these was the perfect time to switch her to a pencil. They are easy to grip and great for the transition. She is left handed so it's been a tad awkward for her. I will say that you need a bit bigger pencil sharpener, than the standard size. They do sharpen nicely once you have the correct size. They are great quality and bigger than a standard pencil.

The thicker pencil is easier for littles to use while developing fine motor skills, while the triangle shape nudges them to hold the pencil properly.Although it's kinda funny it's a product for children, they make epic carpenters pencils. The triangular shape fits the hand perfectly and can be set down without rolling. The soft lead is surrounded by first class wood that sharpens nicer than the pencils the lumber yard gives you.
Kids like the grip better than regular pencil.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are designed for small hands as a first choice when writing begins and I think they are perfect for younger children. Traditional pencils don't have enough surface area to grip whereas these are thicker and triangular shaped to provide a better grip. They are about the same length of a traditional pencil, maybe slightly larger and seem balanced in my sons hand. They are sturdy and didn't break in half. The only con I've realized is that I only had a traditional sized pencil sharpener at home and needed to go buy a multi sized pencil sharpener to use them. I definitely think these are great as my sons first pencils to use to develop his writing skills. Overall, I do recommend these to parents and teachers looking for an easier to grip pencil for little hands.
price is amazing for the amount that you get my kid needed 16 of these but unfortunately they only come in to of a pack in our local Walmart but I was in the order these online and I got them for it amazing deal under ten bucks you can't beat it they're very sturdy they're easy to hold it makes my life so much easier definitely do not break easily these are not sharpened but that's not an issue

These pencils are perfect for little hands that are learning how to write. As a kindergarten teacher, I'm always looking for these big boxes.
