2 years ago I bought this (1st generation) and I fell in love with it. I used to loose my keys and wallets all the time and this was a game changer. But last year I had to replace it due to low battery. So I found out that now they have reusable products and long lasting products because they didn't want more damage to the environment. It made me so happy. I often buy their products because it's the best gift for anyone (male, female or a children). You can find your items through your phone and find your phone through these devices.
If you frequently lose keys, this is the product for you. The instructions on linking this Tile Mate and your smartphone are as easy as 1-2-3. I also have Apple Air Tags and love them, but if you are on a tight budget, the Tile Mate is the perfect gadget for those of us who are prone to losing our keys. For example, I recently misplaced my keys in a zone where they fell in a relatively obscure location where it would have taken several minutes, at best, to locate them. Thanks to the Tile Mate, I resolved my situation in a matter of seconds! Also, if you have the Tile Mate with you and you misplaced your smartphone in a location within 15 feet or so, you can quickly press the button indicated by the product logo two times and activate an alert from your phone so that the search is immediately shortened. It's a win-win situation! Kudos to Best Buy for having the Tile Mate in its line of many fine accessories! It is an ideal gift for virtually anyone who wants a product with an excellent design and practical functions.
I love to use these when traveling. So much luggage gets lost in airports every year, so I keep one of these in my bags incase my bag ever goes missing. It will tell you where it's located so you don't have to worry about losing lost luggage forever.
WORKS GREAT
I have been a tile beta tester for some time now and i must say that the quality has gotten worse. I used to rely on my tiles with 100% reliability yet now some of the newer tiles wont find my phone on the first or second chirp even if it is in the same room. I have not tried many other similar products but i have used a LOT of trackers and so far tile is one of the beat out there. The mesh networking is the key- the more community members see your tile the more likely it is you will find your device
got this item to put on wireless display adapter cause I have forgotten a few in motel rooms. the GPS is great but the feature that I want is only in Beta right now. I was looking for device that will alert me with sound and notifications when I walk to far away from the tile and so far the tile only sends a visual notification and that doesn't help remind me to grab the thing before I get on road to travel. so it's a good product, just doent yet do what I need it to do.
I have heard tons of horror stories lately about luggage going missing so I bought this before our trip to Cabo and put it in our checked luggage. It helped ease my worrying that the luggage would not make it.
Works great but expensive
I seriously loooove this i always lose my keys and my phone.There's an app u use to “ring” your keys and the actual tile itself you can press twice to ring your phone.It doesn't matter if ur phones on silent as long as your bluetooth is on the whole shabang works
I could not get this tile to work with the app. I will have to return. Very frustrating. I went out and bought another tile, so I'm not sure what happening with this one.
