i am notorious for keeping my uber drivers waiting while trying to gather up my essentials. I have a new tile slim in my wallet which I've already had to locate twice. Now I'm on time and with my money in my pocket. Yabadabadoo
I had the previous generation tile slim, the only downside was the 1 year battery life. That has been solved - the new version has a 3 year battery. In the one year that I had the slim it enabled me to find my lost wallet on a train (had slipped down back of bed in sleeper carriage), at a sports stadium (dropped it at security check), in a rental car (slipped between seats) and numerous times at home. Why wouldn't you have one?
I purchased the four pack (2 Pros and 2 slims) and have thus far activated two (a Pro on keys and a slim for luggage although it's in my purse for now). I am very pleased with them so far and that I can even locate my phone by activating a Tile button! I went out the other day with a friend and left my car keys home and got a notification that it appeared I had left without my keys; it even notifies me when I leave the house to walk my dog and don't take the car keys with me so I have to say the Pro works very well! These two and the others will come in handy when I start traveling again in the very near future.
I purchased a SkinIt for my tile & was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure of the quality but it came out so much better than expected! It's the perfect accent to keychain & I really do love it so much!
I wish the instructions for adding the new tile to an existing tile would have been clear. Instead I was instructed to add a new tile. Now I have two tiles functioning under the same name. With a free account I am unable to delete the old tile. Annoying but not a deal breaker.
Works good. I love the reverse feature where I could just click the button on the slim to find my phone as well. So far so good. I guess my only complaint which isn't really that much is that sometimes the range of the slim could be very easily interfered or it could be some other factor that I don't know, but for the most part it is working
Too soon. How can someone possibly review a protective device when it has only been in use a few days? Also registering protected items online not working. Still haven't been able to do so.
I had the previous iteration of the slim and it was perfect. It fit nicely in the front pocket of my slim wallet. The new version is too big and it apt to slide out of front pocket. So now it's taking up a credit card slot (which is what I'm sure is what it was designed for, but is not ideal for my purposes.). Other than that, it works as expected and I'm happy with it.
couldn't find when only a few ft away, got message couldn't connect
I bought 2 Slim Tiles one for my wallet which works well another for my vehicle. I was disappointed with the one for my vehicle. I was under the impression that I could find my vehicle in a crowded parking lot. I found that I can actually see the vehicle before the tile finds it.
