i could get out by myself if i rolled fast in my wheelchair, but i couldnt get back in as easy. this ramp made it easier to come and go. there are holes at the top on the sides if you wish to make this ramp a permanent fixture. be aware that if you dont make it a permanent fixture the ramp rises a little until you get on it. nothing to worry about though. you have to come at the ramp going straight when your trying to come back up the ramp. i kept getting my wheelchair caught on the door frame. you do need a little effort to go up the ramp but it is do able. i just purchased a knee scooter(see picture) to help my mobility so this ramp will real get a good use. nothing to dislike. it does what it is meant for.
works great getting the wheelchair out the door .i didnt screw it down it sits well in the track ,i take it out when not using the chair
Just be sure not to put somewhere too tall. Otherwise like I expected
It's sturdy and safe! We are thinking of getting another one! It sure lets me get into places I normally couldn't.
I purchased three of these 32 x 12 inch ramps for different doorway's in our older house. My wife had a full knee replacement and needed something for her walker. Shipping was very fast. ramps are perfect for intended use, and wife was very happy. I will continue buying TITAN RAMPS in the future
It was just a small inconvenience to get my son's wheel chair over the threshold and my husband gave me a hard time when I got the little ramp. A few days later he even said how much easier it was It has to be easier on my son too not having to be tipped. It is a small thing, just one less little irritation but after a day out and all the loading and unloading, it is nice not to have that one more barrier to overcome. I bought a second for the edge of my friend's wooden ramp. Now it is just a smooth push.
Durable and sturdy yet lightweight
Too wide for my doorway. Not as sturdy as was expecting. Will be returning it.
Not as heavy duty as I thought it would be. I'm a little over 200 lb and when I stand on it I can feel it starting to give, that's without me being on my motorized wheelchair. So I put my wheelchair in neutral and walked beside it while nudging it over the ramp. The very first trip over the ramp, the bottom of my wheelchair scuffed against the black anti-slip coating of the ramp and the coating rubbed off down to the bare metal. I was planning on returning the ramp, but now with the scuff marks I don't think I can. Also, the ramp has a hole on both sides which is intended for nailing the ramp into place, but the ramp didn't come with nails (just an FYI). I can't nail it into place where I need the ramp to be, so I had to come up with an innovative way to prevent the ramp from shifting out of place. After all of that, I guess the ramp is serving its purpose. I just don't think it's worth $50.
Would give it 0 stars. Poor quality and doesnt work. Returning
