Very good age appropriate toy for 2-4. Practice with shapes, animal shapes and pegs into pegboards for eye hand coordination. Can help practice counting, shapes and colors. Great gift!
I gave this set to my grandson to use on long car rides. However, the box did not hold up so we put the items into another stronger box and he loved playing with them. Great items! Hours of pretend play and learning.
I was assuming this item came in some sort of tote since, afterall that is part of the name, but unfortunately it does not. It kept my 19 month old pretty entertained and my almost 4 year old somewhat entertained on an airplane, but keeping track of all the pieces was a challenge. It would help if the puzzle stayed together when placed into a bag, but they do not. I had to carry the set around in a Ziploc :(
