I've been a vegetarian for 20 years and tried almost everything. This is one of the best chicken substitutes out there. It's so delicious on a salad or with some mayonnaise (or vegan mayo) for chicken salad.
Fooled some carnivores and didn't intend to. They knew we were not eating meat and poultry and were surprised that we had gone back to eating chicken. We finally "fessed up" that this was Tofurky brand and they agreed it was delicious with a good texture. Seasoned just right too; their flavoring doesn't seem to interfere with any seasoning you may want to add.
The taste is spot on to chicken. I've tried many brands, but I stick to this meat for chicken noodle soup, sandwiches, etc. The price is very good and its nice supporting a company with the same morals!
I feel like I eat this just as much as people constantly eat chicken. It really is perfect. it goes in any dish. and it even tastes good by itself.
love this stuff! great seasoning! no one could possibly tell it's not rotisserie chicken!!! has a long "best by" date to keep in the fridge so you always have " meat" on hand, you can throw it in absolutely anything and its wonderful!
Absolutely perfect for a wrap. I used this with Hellemans vegan mayo, follow your heart white cheddar block shredded, broccoli salad kit mix, and everything bagel street tortillas. It was heavenly and the closes thing I have had to a chicken wrap in over 20 years and I have been to so many restaurants in those 20 years. I can not rave enough about how well my supper tasted thank to these three dollar and eighty-eight cents chunks of plant protein.
Everything as ordered. No eggs broken. I'm impressed.

Good option for vegans. Its hit or miss to find them instore, sold out a lot of the time. Walmart has been increasing prices on these items, Great for quick meals- chiken ceasar salad or chiken salad sandwiches alao good in hot dishes
Good flavor, good texture, pretty versatile protein. I like to make vegan chicken salad sandwiches from it. I only wish they'd lower the sodium, and do away with the titanium dioxide. But for a quick and easy vegan protein, this stuff isn't too shabby.
