We would order 3 pounds of tomatoes and for a long time that’s what we got. Then we started to get 3 tomatoes. Last week we got 6 tomatoes and this week we asked for 8 tomato and we got 8 pounds. This is a long going problem. How are we to order 3 pounds of tomatoes now. We want to receive 8 of nine tomatoes. Which usually is 3 pounds. We do not like throwing away food, it is way to expensive now. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO ORDER THESE TOMATOES NOW. THANK YOU.
Fresh Tomato on the Vine: I received 1 older tomato with a bruise so at least a 1/3 of the tomato is no good! When I purchase fresh tomato on the vine in person, I get 4 or 5 tomatoes connected on 1 vine which are all in good shape! The tomato weighs .42 pounds %26 at $1.98/lb I should be charged $.83. I have a pending charge for $3.76. I’ll be watching to see what the final charge is. I’m disabled, %26 I’m not always able to shop in person. With Walmart %26 InHome, you are counting on the shopper doing a good job!
Purchased vine ripe tomatoes, bring them home just to find that all 6 were rotten, molded and split. The produce section needs to be inspected daily, and not just the top. The ones doing the curbside should also be checking to make sure this doesn’t happen again to another customer. This is uncalled for.
The tomatoes that were delivered were soft and one of them was even rotten. I won't bother complaining to customer service, which I've done in the past, and they always give me a hard time.
I picked up tomatoes on the vine this morning in my grocery pickup order from the Marion, AR Walmart and one of them was molded! Everything else was fine and this is a rare occurrence at the Marion store so I don’t want to give the impression that this is typical. The Marion store is still my go-to for grocery pickup.
I was given beat up tomatoes a few days ago, but didn't complain. I figured it may have been the driver's mishandling. I was upset but figured they would taste okay in my recipe for tonight. BUT, tonight I open the bag to find MOLD all over them. : ( I feel like when it comes to organic, the shopper picks the first that needs to be moved out of the store, with NO regard to the recipient, in this case, a Handicapped that can't go to the store to pick out their own. Maybe the Shoppers should keep that in mind picking out produce for a delivery... (%26 the Managers too, who probably pressure them to move the oldest off the shelf.) Very Disappointed. We order groceries twice a week and have been very happy for the most part. Items have always been fairly replaced/refunded, what have you,,,but this time I decided not to complain when I got them and look where we are now.
The tomatoes I got were moldy and rotten. It is very apparent they were not a good pick, but they still put them in my order. I’m disappointed the workers saw these and those to still put them in my order. I can’t eat these, they are black and moldy 😟
Walmart, shoppers do not pay attention to the fruits or vegetables. I have received rotten tomatoes. In the past we have received rotten bananas, dented cans of vegetables and expired due dates I will not be ordering food from your store anymore. Your Walmart shoppers could care less when they pick the food out. I have not complained in the past and thought it would get better but it’s gotten worse.
I placed an order for 1 Vine Tomatoes because the description says 1.9 lbs bag! I received just one single vine tomato! I’ve ordered it before and received a complete vine of tomatoes! So disappointed with receiving just 1 single tomatoes! Please have your shoppers know what the description is for vine tomatoes! Picture below is what I received! Thank you
Disgusting!!!! Usually the best tomatoes, but I picked up my Walmart order to find these with growth all over them!!!! White fussy stuff and black mold!! UNREAL! 6 tomatoes on the vine. Cannot believe an associate would put these in an order? Look at the photo!… you’ll be appalled!
