My 9 and 2 year-old boys love playing with the TOMY John Deere Monster Treads Value Set. My boys have had so much fun playing with these high-quality trucks! It's great to have a toy that can entertain both of them. They play for hours building tracks and bridges out of furniture and other toys to drive the trucks over. The trucks are realistic and durable as they can withstand the abuse of a rough two-year-old. The boys love the "monster truck tires" and that the vehicles look just like ones they see on farms. My kids played with these toys for hours. They raced and played construction, towed around smaller cars and sent them flying off a ramp. The tires are a softer plastic and held up really well. They're all still in one piece after multiple crashes. The Tomy Monster Treads John Deere Value Set is definitely a great set of toys.
My 5 year old absolutely loves these! They feel like top quality metal and even the tires are made with rubber. They have hydraulics when pushing them, so it makes it easy to turn the trucks and to drive over bumps. These are so much better than I had imagined. They are built tough. When my daughter pushes them they roll on for quite a while. I was surprised actually! I would absolutely these and I will be keeping these as my first choice for future gifts. We got these truckloads of fun just in time for our little ones birthday and boy were they excited upon seeing this gift ! Each John Deere Monster Treads vehicle has it's own UNIQUE coolness that your kids will love ! This Value set comes with a tractor, dump truck, pickup, and Gator) plus a removable trailer. Each vehicle is approx. 5 inches long and 3.5 in. wide. All the vehicles have bouncy tires, all-terrain steering, and die cast parts for better play ! My boys loved playing with these in our huge garden , making huge hills to drive up and over and with sticks for bridges ! These Little John Deere's drive great over dirt , gravel and grass . I absolutely love these durable little trucks and so do my two year old and five year daughter's. These trucks have been through all types of obstacle courses, beginning with a sand trap, dirt ramps and lastly a rain storm !!My girls have really enjoyed playing with them in all types of weather and terrains. The little cute features they added to the trucks ,make there imaginations come to life ! The dump truck actually lifts and dumps and also the trailer comes off and has movable features and lastly the tractors rubber wheels come off making it easier to play in the mud. I originally got the set for my 1-year-old, but once it came in all of my kids, even my husband, had so much fun with it! My 7-year-old was using the tractors to carry around his superheroes, my 3-year-old was making them zoom around, my husband was making jumps for them to go off to entertain the kids, and my 1-year-old was crawling around and pushing them along with him. They are very well made, and can withstand the abuse a 1-year-old puts them through. They offer hours of fun without any annoying lights and sirens or electronic components. The only con I can think of with this set is that the rubber on the tires is able to be pulled off, so if you have a curious kid, they will likely pull off the rubber. My 6 yr old and 3 yr old Nephew played with these for so long. They seem sturdy and 'crashable' as my nephew says. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars (and I'm not even sure if it's that big of deal, really) is that the 3 yr old would take the big wheels off of the trucks.
