This is an excellent Hobby Grade excavator. I originally bought the plastic version TR-211, but had some radio issues, and then I decided to buy the metal version TR-211M, and I must say, it is really built tough, comes with a much better easy to use radio, and has really worked out well. I did have an issue with the smoke generator, but the amazingly fast customer service Beverly responded quickly and sent me a new unit for no additional cost. Im really happy with this purchase, and Im hoping to see more hobby grade RC construction vehicles come out. I think 500-600 is a good price point, as a full hydraulic RC excavator will start at 1500 to skys the limit, while anything lower than 200 will be more of a toy grade rather than a hobby grade. I highly recommend this excavator, especially if you are new to the hobby, and want a well built product. Excellent customer service and support from Beverly makes this a very highly recommend product!
I just recieved my top race escavator, and i am very impressed with the quality and functionality of the unit. It is very heavy and performs like a real machine. I had some questions initially regarding the procedures, so i called top race and their customer service was beyond incredible. They called me back right away and answered all my questions. This machine (TR-211m) is really a beautifully built machine.
This all metal excavator is awesome I could not believe the quality of this item and the weight. It is almost as good as a hydraulic model for far less money and it is extremely strong. This is why you should not give it to a little kid it can chomp fingers, is very heavy, can carry 100 pounds, and is build like a tank. Just lifting it is a bit of a chore if youre not expecting the weight. That aside the controls are great, the detail is impressive, and the battery lasted for an hour!
Very sturdy machine. I honestly expected a little bigger machine but for what is, it will do the job of a bigger, more expensive r/c excavator. Im very pleased with it. Great machine to get into the hobby with without spending a pile of money!!! Thanks for the well crafted product!
Oh my goodness! I knew they had recently run out of supply and I saw a few complaints... I must say that this is obvious fresh new supply... I received it moments ago and Im shocked to see the new shipping container is now being used by Top Race! The case is awesome ! Havent even pulled out the excavator but everywhere I lay my hands, it screams of quality! Will write a second review after Ive had some time with it.Second impression a week later... WoW, This may actually be the most fun super quality toy Ive ever purchased, Im a 61-year-old tech guy that had a **** of a lot of toys! I just cant say enough about this device but Ill try to be useful. I bought this to keep my mind quick, There are 1 billion tricks you can do with this. I can do almost every single trick that the real ones do in the YouTube videos, I love to maneuver it into impossible positions and also to use it to do very fine work like just picking up the red beans in the photo... its amazing what you can dream up to do with this thing and it hasnt even been out doors yet! The grabber is fun too once you understand it s operation.
If youre looking for a 1:14 scale 23 channel all metal excavator, look no further. This thing is built tough.I had a couple issues that needed addressed and Emerson & Beverly got right on it. What a team they have at TopRace.I ordered my second TR211m proudly as it will be here tomorrow by 8pm. Its a awesome product for a awesome price.

about over $1,000 worth of top race products and I will buy no more of these brands the excavator was $444 take them out to try them out and it made two scoops and then it stopped rotating from left to right so I'm sending it back I think I will go with hydraulic next from a better company this thing I had at 90 day warranty
