I was really disappointed with this flavoring. I tried just a splash and then an ounce then 2 ounces, it doesn't have much of a chocolate flavor at all. It's quite bitter and like a very dark cacoa or more like unsweetened baking chocolate. When I used a larger amount it had a very strong peppery flavor.
