First Toshiba Canvio external hard drive that I have bought and it works great. Easy to set up and use. Using it to back up desktop PC files and photos. The Walmart price and free shipping were great too.
This is an absolute must for a college student. My daughter wanted to use the jumpdrives, but I insisted that she get an external drive.
It works perfectly with both my computer and TV on 2.0 and 3.0 ports and download time is shorter than my last Seagate. Just plug in and start using it. It lightweight so I keep it in the bubble it came in until my case comes in. Thank you.

Exactly what reviewers were describing -- totally set up to install easily and use easily. I even called for Toshiba America Tech Support for my installation, got a tech on the phone just as I tried again (I am very poor with technology!!) The Toshiba Canvio Basics 1TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 icon showed up on my computer screen!! The tech walked me through it, although I no longer needed the help. Her verbally "holding my hand" was a big boost to my confidence with the install and now the usage of this external hard drive. I believe in Toshiba and its employees!! THANK YOU!
This Product works amazingly with my Xbox One S! It's very slim and hard to notice. You should know that there is a 3.0 USB cable included, because i bought one separately, but i didn't need it.
This is one of the external hard drives that is recommended for use with the Xbox gaming system. It was easy to install and use immediately. It made transistioning from my old Xbox to my new Xbox so simple, and saved hours of download time. I would recommend this product to anyone who is upgrading, also, as additional storage space to those who just want to expand what they have.
It's not a bad Hard Drive. Did what it was supposed to and had no difficulties doing so. If you just need that extra space on your PC, Just get this little guy. Does what you need and isn't terrible. Just make sure you don't drop a ton...
Works fine, but I would be mindful of the port connecting the wire to other machines as mine has became loose and now it's hard to get a connection at times, have to adjust wire just so. Otherwise it's good, there's a light that goes off to let you know it's working.
Got this as a Christmas gift for my fiance for his xbox. Worked great up until now, 5 months later, it started making a weird noise and died. Pretty upset by the quality for such an expensive hard drive. Didnt think I would only get 5 months out of it for the price I paid.
