I have two of these organizers, one in each of the boys rooms. They hold quite a bit of stuff, not the big toys but just to get all the little stuff off the floor. I love the book organizer, my three year olds is overflowing, but it still does the job. This is well made and sturdy, and I love the colorful tubs. Seems like it's a bit pricey, but well worth the money.
I absolutely HATE to put anything together but this was so easy to do and the quality was outstanding. You can't beat the price and in my opinion the price could have been a lot higher seeing how functionable and nice it is. However I will not complain. :) I also love the fact that my son can readily reach his own toys and books without my having to worry about anything falling on top of him. He is 3 years old and absolutely loves the colors and how he can just grab any toy he wants. Now I need to teach him how to put them back. :) I would recommend this product to anyone!
I am very happy with the toy and book organizer I ordered. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be stable enough - especially with an 11 month old boy climbing on everything. He plays with the bins and pulls on them and pulls himself up to a standing position and it doesnt' move. Our living room is livable again - we have a place to store our toys and books. Well, most of the time... : )
I bought this as a christmas gift to help my kids better put toys away, some how that hasnt worked lol.my 6 yr old and i put this togeather in 5 mins was very easy to do.It is very full already i had no idea how many books we really had until we started loading it up.This really does help keep things tidy than a toy box,the kids can see where things are and that beats dumping out a whole toybox to find something.
The good things about this product is that it was easy to set up, it does a fantastic job in keeping the larger books and smaller toys organized, and does not take up alot of space. My only dissappointment was that when this product arrived, some of the bins were cracked.
It's a really good value and worked just like I wanted it to. Only one issue with the design...when you load the rows up with books it makes the top tier of plastic containers hard to pull out. In other words, the books hang down a bit too low. Otherwise good product and very easy to put together!
The product is a nice one. Looks good and also useful. The only problem is that the two big boxes for the bottom were broken. They are knd of fragile. I noticed that only after assembling the the whole thing. Otherwise I would have retruned it. oI will contact walmart customer service and see if they can send me only the boxes. If you receive the product intact it is worth the price.
Very simple to put together and holds quite a bit of really little toys. Only the big books are visible out of the top of the book part. Mine came with one of the smaller bins having a tiny crack in the top lip of it, but other than that I'm very happy with it.
This product was a bit pricey for what you get, but suits its purpose for small things. The bins are not too easy to get out and don't hold medium to large toys. When removing the bins, they sometimes knock stuff out of the bins above them. It is nice and compact to be placed in a small area if you are looking for a smaller "toybox" that is out of the way. It is also very sturdy.
I had been wanting to get my son a bookshelf and toy bins for his smaller toys, and this does the job. Although, I think it isn't worth the almost $40...it still does what I was needing and wanting. His smaller toys always gets lost in his bigger toy box, so this was ideal to fit those and leave room for books. BUT...don't expect to put many toys in the bins...it's mainly for small play cars, littler toys, etc. Nothing medium to large will fit. No book clutter from a normal bookshelf. He's only 14 months, and puts his things away easily. What I don't like about the bins IS the fact they're smaller and cannot fit anything taller than the bin size... the way it is set up we are only to use the front half of the upper bins, as the toys fall forward and fall out if too much. If you just want this for the reason I did, then I'd recommend it.
