I've had an earlier and smaller version of this pouch for years. I upgraded my phone to one about the same size as an Iphone and this pouch is the perfect size. I don't think you can find a more secure pouch. The flap-over has a snap lock in addition to velcro and won't open under stress. The carabiner is only plastic, but I use the D-ring it attaches to with a shoe lace to tie it to my handlebar bike bag. I've crashed my bike on both mountain and street rides and my phone has always remained safe and secure. You can't seem to find this on any store rack. My old pouch looks cosmetically ratty, but it still functionally protected and secured my old phone for years. I'm looking forward to years of good service with this new pouch.
Clips right on side of pocketbook, or clip for waist belt. Great lock to prevent from coming out of pouch. Rich looking!
I bought this pouch for my cell phone. It works very nicely since I am very mobile at work. I do a lot of walking and also drive forklifts and other power equipmnt. It only fell off of my belt once since I've had it, but that is only because I was crouching and twixting at the same time. Most other pouches would have fallen off before that. I know because I also carry a work phone in a similar pouch which falls off more frequently.
WOW! VERY RUGGED AND THE CLIP IS PERFECT. SNAP IS A LITTLE HARD TO OPEN BUT I STILL LIKE IT. KEEPS MY OLD CELL PHONE SAFE IF I DROP IT.
This item, a black Tough Tested brand cell phone pouch, arrived early and was well-packaged. Item received was as described by the seller. The price for the pouch was a bit high, but cost for shipping was reasonable. I have other pouches of the exact same type and have found them to be of robust construction. I am using this pouch for carrying/ protecting a power bank. Pick-up from my local Wal-Mart was painless. No concerns with this transaction.
The pouch was a nice size for a bigger phone and the phone fit great. We could not get the clip to release easily. To answer the phone you had to use both hands to try to get it out of the pouch and would miss calls. Sent it back.
I was looking for a case to hold both my phones together. Size description is not even close. Size is described as 8.5 inches tall. The packaging is 8.5 inches however the actual case is more like 5.5 inches. It is made well however it is not nearly the size described. I would return it but I never return anything and just have it sitting there collecting dust. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this for my 9 year old who takes a phone when he goes to friends houses but has dropped it out of his pocket a few times! I loved the fact that it could be clipped to his belt loop and the phone as secure inside! He only used it twice and the whole back panel is ripped on one side! You can tell by looking at it that it is sewn very cheaply with not enough material on the edges! VERY disappointed!!!
I don't recommend this product. There has to be better - I haven't found it yet.
I tried this product based on the described size. When I received it, I discovered that the unit is literally half the size described in the product description. As a result it would not fit my phone. It looked like it is well made and if you have a very small smart phone it should work for you. I returned mine to Walmart for a refund. Oddly, Walmart still has not corrected the product description.
