If there is any excess, simply cut it off with scissors.

This maximum cushion grip is a plush shock absorbing replacement grip for your Pickleball handle. A thick 3.8 mm elastomer layer absorbs shock and softens the overall feel during play. Synthetic tacky feel provides a sure grip, so the paddle does not slip or twist in your hand. Perforations in the grip are there for moisture absorption for play in warmer conditions. Simply remove your old grip and place this grip on the bare handle. The beginning is tapered for easy installation and the edges are grooved and beveled for a smooth seamless fit. Adhesive on back side of grip allows for secure installation. Includes finishing tape.
