Getting a new phone always presents a learning curve. This one was no different. I have been wanting a flip phone even though it lacks some of the features in a smart phone. Messaging is slower and more difficult. But, I don't do a lot of messaging so it's not a big deal. I have to manually add my contacts, the transfer wizard doesn't work with a flip. Well, that gave me a chance to clean up all the contacts that were no longer important. I like the heft and fit of the phone in my hand. I like the safety of being able to close the cover and not have the phone making calls accidentally. It just works well for me. I was looking for a basic phone, this is my choice.

This phone is perfect for talk and text

I only use cell phones for talk and text, since I have 4 computers. I have a cell phone basically for emergencies if my car breaks down, to enter access codes to sign in to online accounts, and to get an occasional call when I'm not home. This phone is perfect for that. The battery lasts almost a week on one charge because I do not have any data usage - just talk and text. The phone feels heavy and durable, and works perfectly. I love it.

Excellent 4G Phone in a Very Compact Package

I prefer a flip phone because it is easier to carry especially when using a horizontal phone case. Voice quality is excellent and the few text messages that I send are much easier to compose than with older flip phones. I deducted one star because I can not download the TracFone My Account App. I receive a message indicating that I must download the Play Store app first. However, this phone is not an Android phone which means that I can not download the Play Store app. At least the TracFone app works perfectly on my Apple iPad and I can log into my TracFone account on line via a PC to see how many minutes, etc., that I have remaining. Overall, I can recommend this phone.

Very easy to use.

My wife's Smart phone was not working for her. Her fingers would not work the screen. I was very happy that you came out with this new flip phone. We had flip phones before but they all reached the end of their lives. Beth really likes this flip phone. It is so much easier for her to use.

not as good as previous LG flip phone

I had to replace an old almost obsolete LG flip phone with a new one due to VoLTE technology. This LG Classic does not display the TRACFONE account minutes remaining or service date on the main screen like the old one did.. Also, the ring volume is not as loud as previous phone.

it is a 'smart phone'

they call it a classic, so i bought it. it is not a classic, it is a smart phone that is hard to use. i chose LG because my true classic flip phone by LG was so good. This one does not have the features of the old one and too many faults to waste time writing about. It did have a loud ring and you can call/text on it, so i guess it gets 2 stars.

I like the size of the phone and buttons and the camera features. However, I cannot figure out how to access my voice mail or my missed calls. I have 2 missed calls and 2 voice mails listed on my home page, but cannot find any instructions on how to access them. Also, there is no file list of calls made or received. another annoying feature is having to text HELP 611611 in order to see how many minutes & days are left instead of having the info displayed on the home page. This is really not a convenient phone to use. My old LG that I bought several years ago was much easier to use. I am very disappointed in this phone. This phone could really use some streamlining and a lot more detailed instructions.

I prefer my first Flip

I do not like this phone and sorry I bought it. It"s not as easy to do anything with this phone. Cannot get messages or see name of who called who called. I bought it to use as a phone and my old one was perfect. I do not care to text and my first flip did all the things I needed. and I can see who called etc. Cannot find anything in this phone because they are all hidden under other titles.
