Great price around and it takes great pictures
I bought this phone to replace another Tracfone phone that stopped working due to a software issue. The phone is pretty nice so far. My only complaint at this point is that it says I can't transfer apps to the memory card I added. Only videos, photos, etc can go on it. I will keep seeing if there is a way around this. My BIG complaint is that Walmart did not scan the phone before it left the warehouse and it was a pain to get Tracfone to get the situation fixed. I don't drive so I ordered the phone online and had no way to take it to a store to have it scanned. I am just happy to have it working now.
Nice cheap phone if you don't have the money for the expensive phones. If buying through online, be aware, for me, they forgot to scan the barcode to activate. I had to take it back to the store to return and buy back. Shipping was fast and was packaged nicely.
Only used it for a couple of weeks, it's too big, don't like big phones, so that's not the phones fault, also I would have to tap it several times to get it to respond, very annoying, no built in notebook, that sucks, couldn't turn data on and off quickly in drop down menu, which sucks, Other than that, it's a great phone, I just didn't like it, anyone want it? I have to update my phone, but I will continue to look until I find something more favorable.
I purchased this as a gift for my dad. The first phone I purchased, was unable to activated because it wasnt properly scanned. So by now I get the feeling that they think I stole the phone. I called TracFone and they couldn't help me and again made me feel like a thief, however they they refunded my money and suggested that i go to the store and buy another one. I odered it online for pick up. So one might think this is it, that it's all over. Wrong! Again the same issue. This time I called the store and I was told "It was not improperly scanned...because I wouldnt have been able walk out the store with the phone. So I call TracFone and explain this to them and they tell me to call Motorola. Motorola tells me that its not 8n their end its initially programmed by Tracfone and they are responsible for the scanning issue. I called them (TracFone) again and explained who I talked to and the contents of the conversation. They took my phone number and said they would have someone call me back within 48 hours. They did call me back 2 days later as promised. They told me they were working on a program glitch and I would hear from them within another 48 hours. I'm really proud of myself for holding together like I did, because my patience was wearing thin. End result was a good outcome, but if I received 2 phones with the same issue, from 2 different places, how many of these phones are out there with this issue? They sent a program with updates, and finally, the phone was activated. So buyer beware.
Compare the pictures. Picture of the one I ordered, and delivery picture of the one I received. I did not r eceive the right one. The One I received is $39. dollars plus. The One I ordred is $49.95. The driver did not deliver the item to my door. Left it outside completely in open outdoor area. I was sitting right by my telephone. It did not ring, announcing her arrival. I ordered online and it was the worst experience ever they didn't scan the phone so I had to reorder a new phone and the same thing happened so know I've paid for two phones and I can't use either one of them. so i called Walmart for the third time and told them what happened and asked them to come and get them and bring them to the store and scan one of them and refund the other I asked them to do this because they didn't give me a return slip for either one of the phones ..so there's my dilemma. so instead of coming to get the phones they decided to refund me and told me to just throw them away. can you believe that they would rather lose money on the phones instead of just sending a driver which I'm always getting deliveries from them,I order from them a lot. don't get me wrong I'm glad they gave me a refund. but that was the worst experience ever so what I'm saying is don't do it don't order that phone nice phone but something is wrong with them. they don't scan, they don't work , I don't know if it's Walmarts fault or something going on with the phones them selves.
On the box it says must be scanned at register in order to activate and of course they shipped without scanning at register so now I gotta go to Walmart so it can be scanned. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having it shipped thanks a lot for once again not following simple instructions.
I ordered online and received ahead of time but was not scanned before shipping so still had to go to store to be informed phone was on recall so I ended up having to choose a new phone which also wasn't scanned so I had to return to service desk to have rescanned again. Very irritated with Walmart
ridiculous, dont order for curbside pick up, i couldnt activate the phone. after contacting tracfone customer service, they said that the Walmart employee hadnt properly scanned it out on their end. i returned to the store in hopes of getting it fixed but the customer service desk wasnt helpful so i just returned the item.
