I've had this phone for over a month now, it's not a bad phone for the price. My only complaint is not enough storage so you can't install too many apps. But it's good for watching videos, YouTube, Netflix etc..... Also my calls are always crisp and clear, I can hear the other person very well and they say they can hear me good too. Yes their are way better phones out there, but for a budget smartphone this is not a bad phone!
This phone is complete garbage. I have it set to where you have to type in the number to access the phone. I went to mow the lawn and had it in my pocket and it somehow did a complete factory reset and it even deleted all of my information on my sd card with all my pictures of my daughter and also deleted all of my contacts. I am so irritated I almost smashed it on the ground but I needed to make a phone call. I recommend buying a higher quality phone that was unacceptable for it to do that. I just don't understand how it deleted everything from just being in my pocket for a hour with the screen locked...
Mostly I use a smart phone for podcast. Also I will use it for Pandora and as a camera. Very occasionally I will use it as a cell phone. I may use 10 minutes of phone time a month but use as much as 600 minutes of podcast time a day as I do through my daily chores. This works as a cell phone. It also worked good as a camera. The resolution appeared as it claimed it was. However the phone would quit after 5 minutes to 45 minutes. This happened with Podcast Addict, Pandora and Spectrum. This would force me to restart it. This is an annoyance while mowing lawn, planing wood or gardening. I took the first one back because it may have been defective. The second one did it as well. I contacted Tracfone who were friendly and helpful they could not help me. I contacted ZTE who was not familiar with the problem. They first suggested restoring it but that would not be better than completely replacing it. Then he suggested removing all the apps I didn't need. I ended up restoring the phone, removing the SD card and installing the minimum plus Pandora. Sure enough Pandora would cut out after about 5 minutes and then about 15 minutes.
I got this so call cell phone because it's cheaper, that's what we can afford, but it's a sorriest cell phone. When I call someone the person can not hear me or I could not hear a person. Information is very unclear and incomplete. It is very complicated cell phone. I guess this is what you get when you buy cheap cell phone.
There is one VERY important thing you should know before buying this phone. If you are planning on adding ANY third party apps you are going to run into storage issues immediately. This phone CANNOT manage an SD card as far as apps go. You CANNOT move ANY apps to the SD card. I installed 3 apps when I got the phone. Twitter, Words With Friends and Audible ( 1 book ) and 3 days later the phone started giving me "low storage, some applications might not work properly" messages. After 2 days of dealing with ZTE support, I have decided not to keep this phone. I DO NOT recommend this phone.
