Products, not good for Minnesota. Below temperature kills battery other than that product is excellent
I purchased this item to replace the exact same item. I bought the same item again because the previous one lasted around 7 years estimated and I thought that was plenty long. I use it indoors to let me know when someone enters my business and it is reliable at that. I have found it to be reasonable with regards to battery usage and I like that it has 2 volume settings.
This is the second time I purchased this same exact item, the first lasted for years so I was glad they were still making it. For the price and what it does, you can't beat it.
MUST HAVE IN MY MAILBOX SO I KNOW WHEN MAIL COMES, TO AVOID GOING UP AND DOWN STEPS IN ALL SEASONS, OTHERWISE, I NEVER KNOW WHEN MAIL AND PACKAGES HAVE ARRIVED.

I first bought this brand in 2001 when I bought my first house. They are still working! I wanted to get a couple more and should have come to Walmart first. I bought what I thought was a good one from Amazon and it didn't even work right out of the box. So I got smart and searched for “driveway patrol” brand, and I'm thrilled to have found them here at Walmart. I should've done that in the first place. Do not try any other brand, these are reliable and last forever. They bring me peace of mind and a restful sleep and that is priceless.
Tried other brands... Came back to this specific model brand. All others just aren't reliable. Mounted all brands to same corner of fence on long driveway, same distance line of sight to AC adapter and alarm. The only brand I will purchase again.
It serves the purpose. Alerts when there's motion in the driveway.
